I was inspired by a post elsewhere about an 'Age of Craig' version of Die Another Day to come up with an 'Age of Craig' version of Tommorow Never Dies - it ended up having elements of the novels of The Man With The Golden Gun, Moonraker and Thunderball thrown into it and being the first part of a new trilogy that would take place after the conclusion of the Quantum Trilogy.

American director Doug Liman is hired to direct Daniel Craig's fourth outing as James Bond, a more traditional film than the Quantum Trilogy of which the previous film, Risico, was the last part. Producers are determined to maintain the same sense of reality that began with Casino Royale but increase the sense of the fantastic. To achieve this, Neil Purvis and Robert Wade are hired to write the first draft of the movie with a redraft being completed by Paul Haggis. Given that the movie is planned as the first part of a second trilogy, shortly before filming on For Queen And Country commences, MGM sign Daniel Craig to a new three picture deal that includes For Queen and Country.

Big names are anxious to be involved in the latest James Bond movie but as with the previous three entries in the Bond film series, big names are eschewed in favour of more alternative names. Sagnier, Cornillac, Berleand and Ardant are known in France with only a handful of English language movies between them whilst main Bond girl, Kim Hee Sun, is virtually unknown outside of her native Korea.

Very cool, terminus. It's difficult to imagine how the Bond series might look that many years down the line, but I look forward to seeing the second part completed and posted. :(

Yes. It's weird to work on the project of coming up with treatments for future Bond movies. I've cast the movies with actors from the present day and used settings that are relevant to the present day - so it should be good.

The second part of the trilogy is complete, but I want to have the third part of the trilogy complete before I post the second part and then the alluded to Risico completed before I post the third part. So, expect the third part shortly after Quantum of Solace debuts at the cinema.

Very interesting... :(

Thankyou :)

Whilst I'm not too keen on the premise, I like the title FOR QUEEN AND COUNTRY...especially in the year of LONDON 2012.

I liked the title too, but it didn't actually occur to me until after the outline was done that if the Quantum Trilogy was completed, that the next movie might be released in 2012.

I'm curious as to whether there's anything specific about the premise?
