I love it. :)

Too bad the US is going to get stuck with another Kev Walker cover. He's a great artist but I'm not a big fan of his covers. :(

Yep. I'm working on my review. I'll try to get up on Friday or the weekend. Just a preview -- it's every bit as good as we expected. In fact, it's better than good. But wait for the review. I'm looking forward to what others think.

I'm doing two versions. You'll have a choice of a spoiler or non-spoiler review.

Looking forward to the review. I'll have to read the non spoiler version. Can't wait to read the book! I reckon it will be much better than Devil May Care which unfortunately was a disappointment. Nice cover too. Wasn't surprised about it being a union jack though.

For me, SF and BF so far have been the best. SF being my favourite as it was more personal and contained. DOD and HG I enjoyed but they were filled with too much action for my liking. Especially DOD and they read a bit more like a normal action story for boys rather than an actual Bond book.

If that's just because of price, know that on Amazon the book is 55% off making it even cheaper than a paperback at the moment.

It's nothing to do with the price. It's just that I collect paperback versions and the Limited Slipcases for Young Bond.

I think it is the best cover in the series. I'm wondering if this book will beat out Blood Fever.

Very nice cover art. Can't wait to see the book in the flesh - hopefully, it'll arrive on Monday (as it's scheduled to). Looking forward to hearing this mysterious paperback news, too!

Lovely cover art. Funnily enough, Sharpshooter sent me an Ebay link via MSN, which was in mid August. So It's a little strange when the cover art has just been announced in September.

Your review has gotten me more excited about By Royal Command, zenner. I can’t wait for my copy to arrive. I did skip the whole middle section of the review (even though I chose the ‘spoiler-free’) I don’t even want to spoil the first sentence of the book. (Not that I know if your review would’ve done that.)

Looks like Tesco is offering some new Young Bond cards along with the book. This appears to be a Tesco exclusive. First I've head of this. Pic over at AJB.

They are exactly the same book with four cards in like the Bloodfever cards, just listed one on ebay!
