How about not reposting the same thing you posted on here 24 hours ago?Why not Japanese actresses like the very talented Hitomi Tanaka, Anna Ohura, Maria Ozawa or the delectable Kokoro Amano? Gorgeous babes the whole lot - and there are many more. Kissy Suzuki, anyone?

She's a damn good actress. In "Les Brigades du Tigre" (The Tiger's Squad, based on the birth of our National Police in the "Belle Epoque") she's incredible...I'm going to say Inglourious Basterds...
And this is based on which of her boring performances?
I did think, and still do, that she would be a very great Bond girl.
She has Bond written all over her
I wish to be the pen. What a beautiful woman...
Plus, she is a very talented actress, which is a feature some Bond girls clearly lacked in the not-so-distant past.

She looks good to meRising English actress Janet Montgomery is the kind of new face that I like to see in a Bond film. She was in Black Swan and is currently a regular in Human Target.

You are aware she's a pørn star, right? How about Priya Rai (no relation to former beauty queen Aishwarya)? Hot bod and luscious lips - a pleasing reminder of Barbara Carrera's Fatima Blush in Never Say Never Again.

Sorry Volante, I don't think anybody wants to scrape the bottom of the barrell, and get some glorified prostitute to be the next Bond girl.

What about Natasha Henstridge, from the SHE SPIES series. She looks sexy and charming.
I'd like to see her as the villain. She definitely has the chops for such a role, having played some decisively vile entities. I looked forward to her character's untimely end throughout the entire season she was in Burn Notice.

Scaramanga proposed a Japanese actress, and if James Bond has to go to Japan, I suggest Nanako Matshumia as Bond girl. Do you know her ?

Didn't know that.
I think Darkpath confused her with Tricia Helfer.
She has Bond written all over her
Who is this?

There are so many beautiful and talented actresses out there, but I'll suggest one. Since the last two lead Bond girls have both been brunettes, just as a change, I'd like to see a blonde. Some of you might not like my suggestion since she was in a Bourne film, but her role was tiny. Oksana Akinshina...
Note: Sorry for the size of the picture, I couldn't find a smaller "PG-13" version w/ a direct link.

To be fair, an indie name like Ms Kunis is far more interesting than not and not a million miles from where the casting nets could/should be looking.
It would be niceto think so, but the gig will probably go t to someone like
Alessandra Ambrosio
Alessandra Ambrosio has already been in a Bond movie. She had a cameo in Casino Royale.

Diane Kruger.Who is this?
I should think Louise Bourgoin, from Luc Besson's The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec, would be in with a shout, too.

I really prefer they cast a lesser known (i.e not a household name) actress and one that isn't American. The last few well-known American actresses they've cast have been dissapointments in my opinion (Halle Berry, Denise Richards, Terri Hatcher). Being an American, I really feel that lesser known (in the U.S), foreign actresses bring an exotic and sexy flavor to the Bond films and the franchise has had tremendous success w/ this formula countless times.
The franchise has also had tremendous success with household names as well. I've never really understood the criticism against American actresses. I get why actresses in other countries might seem more exotic and appealing than the ones in your own country; I love a British accent on a beautiful woman (Sarah Douglas in SUPERMAN II, or Rosamund Pike in DIE ANOTHER DAY). But it's not like the role of Lupe Lamora was made better because a 20 year old Puerto Rican model with no acting experience was cast in the role; and there's no guarantee that if Brigitte Nielsen had been cast in the role of Pam Bouvier instead of Carey Lowell that LICENSE REVOKED would have done any better at the box office.
I just have never found the American actresses that have been cast in the series (in lead roles or decent-sized parts) to be very compelling. This is just my opinion, but Terri Hatcher, Denise Richards, Halle Berry, Lois Chiles, Carry Lowell, Jill St. John, Tanya Roberts....I just find most of them flat and boring or in Berry and St. John's case, annoying. None of them (except maybe Richards at 20 b/c she's hot) would make my "Top 20 Bond Girls" list.
It's just this franchise though, I don't know why.
I hear what you're saying though that in the end there really is no guarantee a particular role would be made better if actress A was cast instead of actress B. Still, I'd prefer they not cast an American actress..at least not in a lead role.
