Change the ending to Bond prattling on as the fugu poison on a stiletto heel kicks into his system, and you've basically got From Russia with Love the novel.Yes, it would end with the villain walking away, and Bond sitting at a table prattling on about some dream he had about his father. Bond would also be a quiet, introspective character who ponders the decay of society and how he is powerless to stop it... and he would only be on screen for roughly one third of the film... and it would be the most critically praised Bond film ever.

Oh, and I forgot, Bond and the villain would never actually share a scene together. And the villain would carry a shotgun with a silencer on it () and he would have a very bad haircut.

But he is the most honourable, likeable down to earh and tough. Unlike the other Bond's he really does come accross as a 'self-made man'. Further given the pronouncements by Daniel Craig that he actually is keen on making QOS even better than the first. Well my respect for him just shot through the roof.
The fact that the film will be more action heavy than the last one. I still don't think that we'll be in for mindless brain candy.

Maybe after the trailer there might be something to base a change or strengthening of opinion.

She was visiting me yesterday and when we were shopping, I noticed and pointed out a shelve of skin care products with Brosnan's face on it.
I asked who she likes more, Brosnan or Craig and she said Craig. She saw the movie some time last year and she shill remembers Craig with warmth.
So yes; Mommy Blond approves

This just in; my mother likes Craig over Brosnan.

My sister also liked it. Then again, I forgot to ask what she thought of Craig. She didn't watch the Brozza Bonds... another "hmmmm"
So I think Craig has also affected to my family

I think that'd look horrible, for Bond at least. A light brown would look better on him, but if that's all they'd be doing they're probably better off using lighting to give the illusion that he has brown hair. Oh wait.Still rather wish he'd dye his hair black, though, but, well, no biggie, I suppose.

I know there are cannon looks, but when phrases like 'too ugly' or 'not handsome enough' are being blurted out by stright males I wonder: "Shouldn't you be more worried about the Bond girls looks?"
I voted: He's still the best James Bond ever!
I love Connery, but ever since CR Craig's acting skills blew me away... and his looks...

What I find so odd is the fact that more men complain about Craig's looks than women.

I know what you mean, lots more guys complain about Craig's looks.
When I first saw Craig being announced as Bond his looks didn't concern me. I just didn't know who he was, I'm kicking myself now I didn't see catch onto him sooner. But anyway I didn't think he looked tough enough at first, but daaaaannnngg what a good workout and a pair of swimming trunks will do to change one's mind!
Actually the picture that sold me was seeing him in his tux at the card table, the swimming trunks picture was just icing and an already tasty cake.
I love Connery too, actually Craig helped me appreciate Connery. Roger had been my fave before then. I'm definitely a Craig Bond girl.

Best Bond ever? Perhaps. For now, he's certainly my favorite.
If QOS is great then he'll probably be my my favorite too. Is 2 straight great Bond films too much to ask from Eon?
One things for sure, you gotta love him for pushing the Fleming title QOS as opposed to Death Never waits for you to Kill or some silly rubbish like that...

Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace (especially Solace) have convoluted and needlessly confusing plots. The two films swim in plot holes. When they don't spend enough time to develop a plot and clearly explain things, than it becomes obvious that the art of making the pictures means nothing. The only thing that matters is rushing a film into production and into theaters without much thought, and making a quick buck.
Past Bond films represented a love of the series and character, even though they were blockbusters. The reboot was nothing but a gimmick to make money. I think the gimmick worked for the Batman films only because the early ones were not very good. Bond was fine, and didn't need to be rebooted.
In 20 years, the Craig era will be known for capitalizing on a trendy gimmick and being like other film series. The films staring Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton and Brosnan will be remembered for their uniqueness.
Past Bond films certainly capitalized on trends such as Live and Let Die and blaxploitation and Moonraker and the sci-fi craze of the late 70s. However, these earlier Bond pictures are still different from other action film series. The Craig films are no different than any other action film today and represent the tiredness, lack of creativity, and boredom of modern films.
