Definitely. Seems like 2008 is aiming to break the record of the number of Bond-related books released in a single year.

The CBn Calendar on the main page is simply flooded with them.

I was asking myself: what is this Final Fling paperback with a different ISBN, that is said on Amazon to be scheduled for May 1st?

That's the international (aka "open market") edition.

Please pardon my ignorance, but what does that mean?

They are paperbacks (released at the same time as the hardcovers) made for export to Australia and the east. They used to call them "Hong Kong Exports." They sometimes pop up in airports too.

Oh! Thanks, Zencat. I guess this is what is sometimes called "airport edition", some kind of large paperback?

Pre-ordering this time for that international paperback since they're not easy to come by.

I'll be getting this. I'd like to see the shorts published in a book, but as of now, this is goodbye and thanks Samantha.

Looks like this is being released the same day as the new Quantum of Solace hardcover, so I'll be able to do a nice combined Amazon UK hit.

Nice to finally have a release date locked down for this. Pleasantly surprised to see them not waiting an entire year to make a paperback edition available to fans too.

Is there a copy of 'The Final Fling' which the dust jacket matches the first two Moneypenny Diaries. The UK John Murrar ones.

No, there isn't. Nor is the a paperback of The Moneypenny Diaries: Guardian Angel that matches the artwork of the last two books in the series.

Hopefully one day we'll get the latter - Stina Persson's artwork is superb.

What a great book series this was. I've read it twice . Hopefully, I'll give a short review soon. The middle book was the weakest as it got a little Mills + Boon and girly for a short time(but the story still drove the plot forward) but soon picked up and gave interesting accounts of all that you would want with regards to M, Tanner, Penny , James, Mary et al. And Final Fling was superb. It's been a great year for new Bond fictio- just stay away from Devil May Care!
