I was just wondering if anyone has managed to collect all the soundtracks for the Bond films? I have to admit, I've only got three myself.

I have all of them except for the "non-official" Bond films, Casino Royale and Never Say Never Again. I have all the soundtracks from FRWL through TLD on vinyl; and all but AVTAK on CD. I also have the double-disc 30th anniversary CD, and I'm eagerly awaiting the 40th anniversary collection.

I'm glad to say I have all the CD soundtracks. Thanks to my student loan, I was able to buy the EMI releases of Dr No to Moonraker a few years ago. I got the Octopussy, For Your Eyes Only and The Living Daylights Rykodisc rereleases when they came out. Never Say Never Again was actually my first Bond soundtrack; I had read in a magazine that it was incredibly rare, so when I saw it in a music store I pounced - only to read later that it was a brand new rerelease! D'oh! I got the Japanese import version of the AVTAK soundtrack from a film store in London, and a friend bought me the American version of the LTK soundtrack so I have that twice (it's exactly the same as the British version, but with the "his bad side is a dangerous place to be" poster as the cover, instead of the "running montage" British poster). I also have both the TND soundtrack and score (and even the video game soundtrack - what a nice waste of money that was!), the Casino Royale soundtrack, the "Shaken Not Stirred" cover album and the single and double CD versions of the 30th Anniversary CD.

I'd also highly recommend the two "Bond Back In Action" - not only are they extremely faithful reproductions of Bond tracks, but they also contain music that was not released on the original soundtracks - such as the tank chase music from GoldenEye (not Serra's version!), and Gumbold's Safe Break and Who Will Buy My Yesterdays? from OHMSS.

I currently have 9, although 5 of them are for my B/day in about 2 weeks. I don't have any of the Connery ones but I have (by my B/day) all the Brosnan and Dalton soundtracks as well as OHMSS, TSWLM, MR and OP. I can't seem to find or get my hands on AVTAK or FYEO! I like TLD one as it has a thick piece of paper inside that has been folded a couple of times showing two posters and some information on the film and score. I think it's the same as with the OP one as I think they are the 'De Lux' editions.

ok, so I'll ask again... I'm seeking to complete my mp3 soundtracks for Goldeneye and TND. Now, that most of you have here the soundtracks, could someone PLEASE, PLEASE do me a small favour and help me?? - I know that asking for completing GE soundtrack would be too much, but for TND I have ONLY TWO tracks missing! ("Station Break" and "The last Goodbye" from the 1st soundtrack edition). Could someone PLEASE, PLEASE make an mp3 of those for me and e-mail it? Look, I'm really not asking too much. (oh, and in case if someone asked - no, I can't find it anywhere on the net, including Kazaa, WinMix, Soulseek etc..)

Octopussy has a cd-rom feature including a strange trailer featuring Magda and Roger in bed kissing at high speed. Rog then rolls over and proclaims to the crew "WHAT I do for England!". Last time she asks for re-filling.

I have all he vinyl records up to LTK (many of them with different covers) and all the CDs - with the exception of AVTAK. The prices for that thing are shocking, positively shocking!

This is being terribly lazy I know, but I'll just quote from another thread.....

Ever since this thread started I've being trying to find my inventory list to the contents of my lockup in Sydney but to no avail, which is a little disconcerting to me at the moment.

Anyway, needless to say, I have all the soundtracks, both individual and compilations relating to Bond in general and John Barry in particular.

So, if I can remember off the top of my head correctly, I have the following, of what I would call, "collectables."

If I can think of anything else (or have found that elusive inventory) I'll let you know.

I'm still chasing the Tomorrow Never Dies videogame soundtrack.

Can't think of any more since posting this originally, and I'm still on the lookout for the videogame soundtrack.

You know, to date I've still been unable to lay my hands on the extended version of Tomorrow Never Dies :)

I've got all 19 official films on LP or CD. I don't have Casino Royale or NSNA and don't know if I really care to add those ever.

Add to that several compliations and 45 records, cassettes, etc. I want to own all the soundtracks on CD eventually and hope they get rereleased soon. What I would really like are more of the deluxe editions. DAF and Thunderball could use the treatment, as could AVTAK.

Look for the TND soundtrack at amazon.com.

Concerning the soundtracks: I have all of them on CD, from Dr. No to The World Is Not Enough and of course many "independent" soundtracks like Bond Back In Action 1+2, The Essential James Bond, The Best Of Bond... James Bond 30th anniversary/1999 release and the David Arnold James Bond project, just to name a few.
Personally, I like Octopussy, TND and Bond Back In Action 1 most.
I think BBIA is great, although the ski chase music is a bit screwed up.

I have all the soundtracks on vinyl up to LTK (when they stopped putting them out on vinyl) some in variant sleeves. I have a gatefold SPY for example. I almost have them all CD. So between my CDs and records, yes, I have them all (including the rare NSNA).

I have all the official soundtacks on CD. All of them were bought from the store or off Amazon, except for AVTAK (because I don't want a Japanese import), which I downloaded from the net. I don't have NSNA and CR, but I hope to get them both very soon. I also have the first Bond Back in Action CD, The Best of Bond, and Themes from the James Bond Movies. My favourite CD's are TLD Soundtrack and The Best of Bond.
