Seriously Pat, you should find a way to get it to EON. I think they would help you get it published as the "official" comic book adaptation in a heartbeat.

wow! thanks again for the uplifting and encouraging compliments
I never really try to show my bond work to the bond "licence guys" mainly because I don't know who they are or where they are!! is it EON, DANJAQ, MGM, UA, SONY,GLIDROSE, IFF? I really wouldn't know where to start, once I saw in a dvd extra ,can't remember wich one, an interview with Michael Wilson talking about unsolicited script submissions and he said that these where automatically rejected because of legal reasons, didn't said anything about comic book adaptations though, but it's pretty much the same ,I believe it was in DAD UE
by the way spynovel, I do work with stills and the dvd ,I pause it and sketch the shot and try to capture the expressions and settings and of course from every movie still I can get.
I've gotta get me one of those dvdrom frame capture thingys so I can print shots from the movie, that would save me a lot of time!!
I'm working on some deleted scenes from the script as well, like valenka swiming underwater etc

But there's a difference here - you're not creating a new story, so they wouldn't be worried about you suing them later if they used an idea in your script, which is the main reason they don't accept unsolicited scripts. I think you should seriously investigate just who to send it to - at EON, probably.

I think it's an excellent idea to incorporate deleted scenes - more value to the reader - and perhaps even the odd touch from the novel that didn't make it into the film. If I have one criticism, it's that you risk looking up like a shot-by-shot remake of the film. I really think it's great work, easily publishable as an official graphic novel, and some of the expressions and characters you have changed somewhat. But perhaps allow it to breathe a little more. Perhaps give the faint suggestion that Bond has a facial scar, for instance? Or cut some of the slightly sillier dialogue when you feel fit. Don't feel it needs to be a slavishl recreation of the film - just a very faithful one with a few differences. I'd also appreciate some of the 'cut' stuff setting up the Vesper relationship, ie them swimming together - but perhaps you can even add a little more to that.

Good luck!

Pat006 do you have an agent? I should think that you could find one with your talent. But an agent could submit this to EON for you. And EON is the license holder I'd try to contact first. The other being the Ian Fleming estate. But if EON wanted the adaptation, then I'm sure IF estate would go along.

For my own selfish reasons (well, mainly because they haven't released 007 comics here, in Finland since AVTAK) I dont want it to be official, because I would miss out your excellent work.

But since you're really talented, I say that you need to get it published!

I'd buy it! I'd consider buying it overseas... for the first time ever.

Fantastic Work! Utterly Brilliant, may I ask where the first 4 pages are, with Dryden coming up the elevator and actually finding Bond in his office?

Wow. I am very impressed.

You really should try and get these to EON. I imagine they might offer to have it printed as an official comic book adaptation. Maybe you might even get a gig doing storyboards for a future James Bond movie :D

by the way I ordered the new mi6 classified magazine, should I submitt samples of my work to the editor? anyone knows anything about it?
what do you think? perhaps I'm lucky and we can see cr graphic novel in print!

I don't know anything about the MI6 mag editor. Getting an agent or manager to submit samples to EON is still the way I'd go.

Really quite stunning work there sir.

Not a professional comic or art appreciator but it does really look top notch.

I'll echo that.
