hi
As you may not know, i am french, and here the benson books are coming a little bit late. We have "zero minus ten", "the fact of death", "high time to kill", and i recently see that i new benson was coming. But while the logic order of things will make "Doubleshot" the next one, it s "never dream of dying" instead.
SO MY BIG QUESTION IS: Can i read "NDOD" before reading "DOubleshot" ?
thnaks you.
i ll post in a few time the covers of the french books of Benson.

You can read Never Dream Of Dying before Doubleshot. Never Dream Of Dying will give away a little bit of Doubleshot but not really enough to ruin the book. Both books stand as individual stories, though. One not really requiring the other. I would try to read them in order if possible, but if it's not possible, c'est la vie.
I imagine they are rushing Never Dream Of Dying out in France because parts of the book take place there and more people would be interested.
Have you thought of trying to read the English version of Doubleshot?

Hey, I didn't know HTTK was out in French, and DS is coming? I'd love to get these, but I can't find them on the French Amazon site. Could you provide me with the links, level007? Or any other links where I could get these? Thanks.

Bingo! Got them both on http://www.alapage.com/ It was a little trick negotiating the checkout page as I don't understand French, but I think I pulled it off.
I'd appreciate an alert when Doubleshot is released, level007.

In Germany they stopped translating the Benson novels after The Facts Of Death, so I read High Time To Kill and Doubleshot in English, and yesterday I got as a birthday present Never Dream Of Dying which I just started reading.
It's a pity they don't want to translate any more Benson books. I e-mailed them last year and they said "the demand wasn't high enough, so we stopped supply..."
Regards,
