Anyone else long for a true OHMSS sequel?

I stated that I use the book by Fleming as a sequel to the movies to satisfy my need for a proper end to the Tracy arc.



Why? Why mix the films with the novels, they don't go together, nor should they. The cinematic Bond has nothing in common with the Bond of the novels, so it's an odd mix.

On the other hand, Blofeld was killed twice and almost killed a third time in TSWLM.

That's more than any villain needs.

:) Eh? You sure? We never saw Blofeld's dead body in any of the Bond films (although granted he would have struggled to survive being dropped from a helicopter down a chimney stack). Also Blofeld wasn't even in TSWLM.....

Stromberg was originally written to be Blofeld, but they didn't have the rights, so that plan fell through. I believe that's what he was referring to.
