Where did you get your copy of For Special Services?
Where are other places to buy a copy?
Is For Special Services in print where you live?
Having troubles finding For Special Services? Post here.

www.bondandbeyond.com is a very good source for obtaining good Bond items.
You will see that a compendium of the first 3 Gardners is available.
They offer a very good service and I have bought several items from them over the years.

Once again I cannot recommend Abe Books highly enough. I have ordered lots of obscure paperback thrillers and never been disappointed by the service―the low prices are an attraction also. One can usually find particular issues as well which may be of use.
For a reading copy the recent release of the first three together (Licence Renewed, For Special Services and Icebreaker) is great value for money.

I got my first copy at a used bookstore - was the Berkley US paperback edition.
Like the UK hardback for Licence Renewed, For Special Services is a relatively easy and cheap one to get--whether on eBay or abebooks.

Abebooks has drained plenty of my bank account over the years. I, too, got my copy of For Special Services from here, an excellent hardcover U.S. first edition, for quite cheap. I originally read the book in a paperback in the mid-80s, but have no idea what happened to it...Once again I cannot recommend Abe Books highly enough. Half.com has a nice supply of paperbacks for really cheap if you're just looking for a copy to read..
I'm probably just going to borrow mine from my lovely local library until I can figure out if I like it or not

How many copies did you want? Go to Advanced Book Exchange: www.abe.com
http://www.abebooks....u...ervices&x=0
There are currently 691 copies of the book you want for sale.
