Where did you get your copy of Licence Renewed?

Where are other places to buy a copy?

Is Licence Renewed in print where you live?

Having troubles finding Licence Renewed? Post here.

I actually found mine in paperback form for 50 cents at my local library. I later found another one and gave it to a fellow Bond literary fanatic.

My first copy was from a used bookstore where I've gotten many other paperbacks.

The UK 1st edition hardback is very easy to come by on eBay.

The library where I work had a copy on the shelves so that was easy enough :)

I found obtaining the different UK paperbacks to be the most difficult when it came to collecting this book.

I found mine at a used book store near the courthouse. There were actually two stores on the same block, but one was much, much better than the other. The owner had the books alphabetized and categorized, he was friendly, and he had the sweetest little cat in the store. Sadly, that shop is no longer there. But, that's where I got my Licence Renewed (paperback, a Berkley Book, if it matters).

I have it in that three novel omnibus edition that also contains For Special Services and Icebreaker. My original Putnam paperback I bought in 1986 I loaned to a friend and never saw again. :)

That one on ebay that Qwerty posted sure has a nice cover! I just checked, mine is the American paperback. Bought it as soon as the book hit the store.

Think you're referring to the UK hardback. It is quite nice and very easy to obtain online.

The broaden the topic, does anyone know if these novels (Gardner's, and Colonel Sun) will ever be re-printed? Maybe in time for the new Bond novel in May?

Been asked and discussed many times before, and the answer always seems to be the same: there isn't any indication of it happening any time soon. :)

There was the omnibus edition of Licence Renewed/For Special Services/Icebreaker in 2004 though.

Lesson being: hold onto the copies you've got. There's a limited supply of them out there, and it will keep a dwindlin'. :P
