I have recently bought and completed Agent Under Fire, however the other day when I bought my new Playstation 2 magazine I looked at the demo of AUF on the disc and saw 4 movies I haven't seen in the full game. The first was James Bond swinging on the Q-Claw around an oil rig while it wa exploding, The second was James Bond with a laser sight shining on his chest(but then he shoots the bad guy), The third was James Bond in the BMW Z8 getting chased by or racing a red car, and the fourth was James Bond in a casino with the Q-Specs looking through women's dresses like in TWINE. Does anyone know if these movies are in the full game or not? Your thoughts would help. Thanks.

Hmmm...if they r not on there, it is likely they were either dropped or were for the trailers only.

I just got AUF for GameCube and I love it. As a Bond fan, I actually think it's more fun that Goldeneye. I was addicted to Goldeneye, but the driving levels really edge this one over it.

Where did you guys learn about this Phoenix Rising game? Is it going to be based on DAD, or another original title?

Although EA Having officially announced Phoenix Rising, we are pretty sure that it is it's name, it was apparently found out via a 2 way advertisment deal with a Games Magazine where it was displayed.
It is going to have Die Another Day plot as far as I know, it is going to be released at the same time as the launch of DAD in cinemas. There was a story a while back on CBN about the Die Another Day connection, Check it out if you want to find out more.

I think your correct. Ive got loads of demo-discs with this footage on, and the two cars racing is very similar to the start of GoldenEye (the movie), im sure its the same Ferrarai, but the Aston Martin is replaced by the Z8. Im positive this was just for the trailers.

I've never heard of these things until now. any one know which issue the demo was in or have pictures of the demos?

by the way:
remember in Goldeneye how if you beat all the levels in Secret agent or 00 agent you unlock secret levels?

perhaps these are from bonus levels that were intended by taken out for confusion or something.

Y'know what was really dumb?: How the Russkies could kill you in the tank in GoldenEye64© and AUF What the hell's the point of a tank, if infantry can machinegun one in it?

And I detest those 'on rails' levels with no explanation as to why you are 'on rails'. If Bond was in a gondola: fine. But a tank has a steering-stick.

Ive got the game aswell, and really cant think of where these movies might be. The Q-specs ARE in the game, but ive never found any use for them. The Z8 and the others again im stuck with.
Which magazine was this? Are you in the UK?

Anyone else got AUF who can help?

I'm in Australia, but the English and Aus PS2 magazines have the same demos on the discs. I'm puzzled?? Anyone else seen this demo and know anything about it? Please let me know :-)

Many of the CBn posters are from the days when "Amsrad 2100CT" was hi-tech (trust me that was a LONG time ago).
That leaves the posters who are in the average game-playing age group "13-25".
Then you cut it down again to the number of them who actually play games, and then again to the people who can be bothered to reply.

who here actually plays James Bond games? or any games for that matter? I'm turning 19 this year (how old is everyone else?) and I have been playing games since i was like 6 or 7 (when we had an old commodore 64 LOL) :-) and I can't get enough of them, especially James Bond games. I currently have a PC(obviously), a PSX, a N64, Gameboy, Gameboy Colour, and the best "PS2"! Agent under fire would have to be my favourite Bond game of all time, yes even better than GoldenEye 64. There is so much more to do, and it has a more classic Bond feel to it. Who else has played this? and what do u think?

I think u'll find it's because most users don't own or haven't played AUF. If you notice the GE game threads are alot more involving as most people own or have played GE. I agree AUF is a better game, we have to get those who don't own it to part with their hard earned cash or get it on PC.

They never made TWINE, that became AUF.

Why did they take out John Cleese's image from the game. I remember seeing screenshots of him (in the shower - ooh err) but then they changed him to look like a mad scientist.

they took cleese out because agent under fire isn't based on a movie. it used to have him in when it was called twine but that's it.

anyone else know anything about the vid i described??

About the glasses. You can use them to find hidden sections in walls. Some lead to ammo rooms and others have electrical wires behind them which, when zapped with your Q-Lazer, disable security beams.

go to 007.ea.com and click on prima stratagy guide and it gives you the guide tothe 4th level, bad deplomacy, where you kill griffen clone. it talls you where to find the laser things, and tells about a hidden door with ammo and armor.
