I got my copy (the 1970 British paperback) from Abebooks.com for a couple of pounds. That website (which is fantastic for any obscure novel you might be after) always seems to have a wide variety of copies available in the United Kingdom, United States and continental Europe. Moreover, it is completely safe and secure, something I was interested in being exceedingly paranoid about transactions over the internet.

E-bay is usually the best location to secure a fairly inexpensive copy for reading, or one of the many firsts that they list (both U.S. and U.K.). Abe can be a bit pricy at time, but they are very reliable. Amazon also has copies of it.
Some of the shops in N.Y. still carry the Harper paperback (The Mysterious Bookshop, etc.), but the internet is quicker and cheaper.

That's what the UK 1st hardback's cover looks like as well. From memory, it doesn't really relate all that much to the plot.

i just received a copy that i had ordered on ebay. it cost me $0.75 but the shipping made it $3.75. i dont think i will read it until i get through all of the fleming novels though.
As a prior Fleming novel is referenced in it, it is best to read them all in order. COLONEL SUN would take place a year after THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN.
