[Tanger]

The James Bond Theme is one of my most favourite pieces of music. The other day I was scouting the track samples at amazon.com and came across a group named 'Proteus 7' who had an album entitled "For Your Ears Only". I immediately read a review and saw that the group had a superb "brassy/Bondy" sound.
Anyway, I clicked the link and he theme began to play. It sounded superb, apart from what sounds like an aeroplane and someone fly-fishing in the backgroud.
I was dismayed at this and when I clicked the link for the 007 theme, I found the case was the same. I could hear what appears to be a robot (odd!).

Does anyone own this album or have the above mentioned tracks (I especially wanted the 007 theme as I am currently working on a mix) and could they tell me whether this is the case on their album or amazons way of saying "Stop nicking our samples!"

Heres their version of the 007 Theme.

I listened to a few other of the tracks and the didn't seem to have this kind of interruption. They also sound pretty good aswell.
I might get the album if it turns out that the background noises are just Amazon being annoying #@*!s

I 've got the whole album " For our ears only" - Proteus 7!!!

It's awesome! there are a lot of SFX added with music!

I bought this album 4 years ago!



I think there are only very few pieces out there of this great album!!!

I 've got all 7 bond tracks... BRILLANT SOUND!!!

their trumpets play a good Bond theme. I just love the brassy trumpets, Like in TND, I just loved that music!

I like the 'brassy' sound too. The only complained I have is about those awful sound effects in the background.

Why, oh why, would anyone want to ruin a track like that. Albeit, on the odd occasion it may work well, but here...the darn things ruined!
I wish they'd done it without the effects.
