[Tanger]

I was recently scouting Audiogalaxy for 'lesser known Bond covers' and I came across this English group named 'Ten Masked Men'. They are, exactly as their name suggests, ten men who are masked. I came across four Bond covers that they had made. These were:

The Man With The Golden Gun
A View To A Kill
The Living Daylights
and Diamonds Are Forever, which I wasn't able to download.

The band are a 'Slipknot' style band and have produced hard heavy metal covers of these themes. Despite this, the covers are quite good. I especially like TMWTGG. I'm really looking to get hold of their DAF version.
I urge the younger fans (and any curious ones) to track down these....tracks as they really are quite entertaining. Especially if you are into heavy metal or Slipknot.
Those of a 'certain generation' though, may want to avoid these and may regard theme as a 'mockery' of the songs they cover.

Has anyone else here discovered this band and listened to these tracks, if so what did you think of them?

They may not be everyone's cup-of-tea, but they are interesting to listen to.
If I come across anymore info on the band, I'll post it here.

I notice that they also do a song called "The Look Of Love", but I don't know whether it's the Dusty Springfield song from Casino Royale or the ABC song from the early 80's.

Yeah it is the CR version. They also do versions of 'Livin' La Vida Loca', 'Baby One More Time' and other various tracks from films and musicals.
