Hopefully we'll get some nudity in Casino Royale. 'Grittiness' to me implies a certain honesty in the way scenes are shot. The 12A certificate can push things surprisingly far.

Actually, I just wish they could release an unflinching, unrated (15- or 18-rated) version of Casino Royale on DVD alongside the theatrical version.

I certainly hope that if they do cut to achieve the 12A rating that they'll do a directors cut on DVD - not so much for nudity as for the violence.

Yeah I understand that people in the US or maybe also in Great Britain could feel offended by these pictures, this is why I put a warning in the thread title. We want to be as much a family site as possible, but seriously, you just cannot run a Bond site or a discussion board without the subjects of nudity, violence and alcohol abuse. These things are major ingredients of the Bond formula.

If I posted these images over in our German boards, no warning would have been necessary. Nobody feels offended by these pics. So in the beginning, when surfing around on English websites, I couldn't understand what's the big deal with nudity. Honestly, I haven't even understood this by now. But I respect that people may feel offended, that's why I put up a warning in the thread title.

How can anyone be offended by a women's body is beyond me (unless it is morbidly obese). It's not like we haven't seen it before in real life.

It's that wonderful British hypocrisy that they'll complain about a woman's nipples appearing briefly in a shampoo ad in the daytime, in case it 'damages' children (eg the Neutralia ad in the UK few years back) yet buy FHM, The Sun and The Star and have them lying about so kids can stare at semi-naked women as much as they like!

If these "institutions" are so concerned about "damaging" the children people should cut off TV completely. Anyone who has done some studies on news media (especially American) can tell you skewered it is in portraying "reality".

Great pictures Tim . Judging by looks, Miss Green seems an inspired choice as Vesper. I find her very beautiful, but as Gabriel said, she's not in the same mould as the glam women we had in the Brosnan era. She has a very interesting.... face . Still, I'm glad we're coming away from the "Bond equal" we had in the last film, and we're starting to see some sense in the casting. EON, we salute you

I saw that film a couple of months ago on satellite television. A strange film where she sleeps naked with her lover and brother in Paris. Damn, I didn't know that was Eva Green! Does anyone know how old that film is? She looks pretty young in this film. I could never date a girl who reveals that much of herself on screen. I'm sure she'll make a wonderful Vesper though! Great casting Eon/Sony. Well done.
