Just remember how fast these large prints vanish.

I was just exchanging emails with a fellow collector who says even though he pre-ordered the TWINE large print it's yet to arrive. You really have to jump on these large prints very early.

That is my case John. I pre-ordered, but the "4-6 weeks wait" notice had appeared when I did - I didn't pre-order quick enough. However, I got an email from amazon a few days ago saying it was dispatched. I got lucky. :)

I really think with large prints Amazon only orders as many as have been pre-ordered. Then after publication they have to order direct from the publisher -- and I think the publisher only printed as many as were pre-ordered by retails outlets like Amazon -- so you can see how you can easily miss them.

Makes sense to me. (Just pre-ordered mine - not going through this nonsense again.)

Whoa, 514 pages.

Ought to give the new Harry Potter a run for its money!

Oh yes, but I mean that you can't even buy it from them yet:

This item is not in stock. If you would like to purchase this title, we recommend that you request it used.

Whereas I already pre-ordered mine from the US Amazon.

Amazon now has a pic of the cover art. Nothing new. But this image has been on the Throndike website for quite some time so maybe it's just a place holder and the actual cover will be something new.

Well this was supposed to be out November 14th, but amazon still shows a "Not yet released" message...

Hmm... so it looks like that U.S. cover Amazon has for Blood Fever is final or near final. It wouldn't be bad if they stuck to that design for the paperbacks, but I'd rather my hardbacks all have a similar design.

Yeah, I'd like the hardbacks to be similar too. At least the UK's are staying the same.

Got mine yesterday as well. Interesting that it picks up a mistake from the US proof and refers to Bond as being 14 on the back of the book (he's 13).

Shame it doesn't use varient cover art.
