Yesterday, I watched my first Bond DVDs. (In fact, my first DVDs).

DAF and LTK.

They're very enjoyable.

If you haven't seen them, don't read on...

I thought the DAF one was quite good and it's good to see that Putter Smith and Bruce Glover are still around. Putter Smith doesn't look any older, in my opinion. (Marc Lawrence is still alive, I found that surprising.)

I'd like to have seen David De Keyser interviewed.

The docs. on both these DVDs are narrated by Patrick Macnee. Is that the case with all the Bond DVDs??

Mostly yes. But due to his involvement in AVTAK they gave the job to some woman or other (not the one from The Making of TWINE thank heavens). But PM narrates the second documentary on the disc to make up for it.

Thanks James :)

TWINE is the best DVD in the series by far. It was also the first made, and I *ahem* was involved in a small way during production so I've got a soft spot for it.

That's interesting :)

Although the making of TWINE documentary is ****, wouldn't you say James. The rest of it is great, especially the tribute to Desmond LLewelyn.

If your quite interested in the documentaries I suggest you get Goldfinger and Thunderball next. They both have a phenomenon and making of documentary. Then again just get em all they're all great :) I don't know what I'd do without them.

btw aren't you a little late starting, u sure you are gonna be able to get them all.

I don't even have any DVDs! :-(

We just had to get a replacement VCR, and I tried to talk my parents into getting a DVD player instead but it didn't work.

I know I'm very late starting :) I have a DVD player in my PC that I bought nearly a year ago, but I never got round to getting the stuff you need to make it work.

I hope I'm able to get them all.
