I must say I'm a bit disappointed with the FRWL picture. Bond on the phone? Honestly? It should be Bond and Red Grant fighting! But there is hope, the pictures could still change. Afterall, they do have to replace the Bond 20 "Coming Soon" image.

Yes you're right. They're all using the red logo with the blue background. I've noticed a lot of things are being released with the blue gun barrel as well.

What do yo uall think of the photos they've included in the classic calendar? It's interesting that Maud Adaams is actually featured twince. Personally I'm glad that the Dr No scene is of James Bond in the casino. The first time we hear Bond, James Bond.

I want one thing though. A fourth calendar. And this one a completely Bodn 20 related on. That's what I really want. And if they can't issue a fourth calendar then hopefully they'll make the Desktop Calendar a Bond 20 related one.

What do you want in the desktop calendar? I want pictures and quotes personally!

Has anyone else noticed a trend in all of the official Bond design images for all things after about november 2001 (which is basically just the rare promotional sheets, agentunderfire.com, and jamesbond.com). There's a few silhoutte women that keep popping up and there's the new Bond silhoutte. Then of course there's the 40th anniversary logo.

I'm pretty sure there's a general set of images to work with for all official promotional purposes. Agentunderfire.com promised a fan site kit coming soon for a while but has now removed any mention of it. Does anyone have any idea where any nice, big, and clear images of any of the silhouttes are?

Few people will have a James Bond calendar on their walls in 2002, that's basically because there were none available. However, it's all going to be made up to James Bond fans in 2003 with three Bond calendars being made available to Bond fans.

The three calendars are; Classic, Poster and desktop and personally I'm excited about all three.

Above are the front and back covers of the Classic Calendar and the front cover of the Poster Calendar. As yet SpyGuise, who are stocking the calendars, have not made an image of the Desktop Calendar available. As soon as one does become available, we'll let you know.

The Classic Calendar will feature photos from the 40 years of James Bond. It's interesting to note in the above image of the calendar that space has been reserved for a Bond 20 image.

The Poster Calendar will feature various images of Bond poster work, however, details of the particular posters hasn't been revealed yet.

Few details have been revealed about the Desktop Calendar, bar that it will be spiral bound and be illustrated.

SpyGuise does warn that the calendars will only receive one print run so numbers will be limited! To ensure that you get your calendar pre-order yours today here. Remember, once they're sold out, you're not going to get your hands on these calendars. Personally I've just pre-ordered the Desktop Calendar and the Classic Calendar. (As a note, you're not actually charged for the items until they ship later this year).

Fair point Jim, however, I don't think they've been printed as Spy Guise have said that pictures are subject to change. Seems they got their hands on a proof publication.

One thing that I've noticed about the classic calendar, and I'm rather disappointed about it is that the picture for June (Bond and Domino on the beach in Thunderball) is the exact same picture as the picture for August in the Classic 2001 calendar. :)

On replacing the image, don't be so sure. I'm sitting in front of a calender sent by a nameless company, promotional thingie, and the January picture was a picture of the New York skyline with a 'plane flying over it. Very resonant, I'm sure. The company had to issue a letter of apology, and invited recipients not to put the calender up in January if it caused offence.

Apparently, the calender was printed in June 2001.

So don't be surprised if none of those pictures change, unless we have more information by June, and a title (unlikely, at the current rate).

My only observation on the classic calender is the absence of Timothy Dalton, save for the cover. Bit odd, that. I am reassured to see that my favourite Moore scene, the hotel scene with Andrea Anders, is in there. Classic, precisely
