007 Magazine #40, a special double sided issue celebrating the "rogue" Bond films CASINO ROYALE and NSNA, is now shipping to club members and is available online at the club store: http://store.thejame...k_Issues_4.html

One bit of bad news. Apparently the JBIFC has discontinued their "007 Newsletter". Too bad because I really liked the newsletter. In many ways, it was a much better "fanzine" than 007.

Can you believe I ordered these from the JBIFC website back in Feb and I STILL haven't gotten them? Geeze.

Finally got the mags yesterday (I'd recommend U.S. fans buy from SpyGuise). The NSNA/CR issue of "007" is awesome. Amazing pics I've never scene. Can't wait to read the articles. But The Art of James Bond is nothing special, especially if you have the new poster book. The same old foriegn sheets we've seen a million times, and it focuses almost exclusively on the Connery films (one Dalton on the back cover, no Pierce at all!). I'd put your money toward the poster book instead of this.

Somehow I missed this thread altogether, I think I was on holidays!

But I have the CR and NSNA issue. It's quite good and very interesting.

As for the delay? I can't really say. I do know the the JBIFC moved headquarters recently. So things could be up in the air trying to get things settled.
