I really doubt that they will release them on the same day in both countries. They did that with Harry Potter mostly to keep the secrets of the book from leaking onto the internet. There's not the same media interest in Young Bond.

I think that would be a great idea if they did release the book on the same day for both though, if they had enough publicity for both countries for it.

I agree Qwerty...but I don't see it happening. The US release of SilverFin was hardly publicized at all.

Right about that - and it was really made up to in the beginning that it would be.

Its like Miramax gave up after scrapping the notion of a Young Bond movie series.

It would have been seen as a rip-off on the currently in-production Alex Rider movies anyway.

Really, it's out now. The UK 1st print run came pretty early.

Yes it did. My copy of Blood Fever shipped from Amazon UK today so I could possibly have mine before the New Year and a whole six months before it arrives in the US.
I'd think just that longer wait alone would entice all US Bond fans to order a copy from Amazon UK.

Indeed. And the added incentive of all the signed editions on eBay.

I'm personally hoping that Charlie Higson makes a return to Washington D.C.
