Does anyone have a GE DVD that doesn't delete the little scene where Xenia headbutts Natalya. The R4 cuts it out of the DVD, but not the TV or video version. I have no idea why.
Anyone not had that problem with a R4 or any other regions?

I got the R1 version and just to make sure, if it's the scene where Natalya tries to club Xenia with a huge stick and Xenia replies with "Wait for your turn" and a headbutt, then yeah, it's in there. It's stupid to delete that for censorship.

Yep that's the one! I don't understand why it was removed from only the DVD but no other material.

For what its worth, in Indonesia the VCD of GE includes that scene as well.
Mind you, the censorship laws are all back to front here anyway. It's alright to include gratuitous violence and such, but so much as a hint of sex and it's cut to ribbons. Which is worse: sex or violence?
It's sad, but on the local TV news it's not uncommon to see hacked up bodies lying on the streets as a result of riots and massacres, etc.

The french version has them too.
it s good because in france, censorship in cinema is not very powerfull. You know, ot s not because we see a breast in a movie than the film is rated PG13. To be censored, a movie has to be very gore or pørnographic to be rated. Anyway, it s good to be there !!

The UK cinematic release of GE did not have the headbutt scene but when it was shown on UK Sky TV, the scene was intact.
It seems that there is always the possibility of foreign prints being used as time goes on for different Video/DVD releases or TV broadcasts. Which, as mentioned before, does make a mockery of the whole certification process and the levels to which people will censor small scenes that quite blatantly are not measured across the whole cinema/broadcast board.
Oh well. Provides food for discussion if nothing else.

You may have noticed that all of the Brozzy scenes that were cut were due to sadistic undertones...
(GE: Xenia's "wait your turn")
(TND: Bond kicking a man when he's down)
(TWINE: Elektra's toture of Bond)
etc
Sex = OK
Violence = OK
Bad Language = OK
Sadism... NO WAY!!!
