Probably around $30 a pop. Could be more.

I might pick up 1 or 2 if they are not to much more than $30 and if they are well sculpted.

I was shopping in the city today and came across the SideShow figures for LOTR. They retail here for US$100 (I'm praying Bond doesn't retail for the same otherwise I'm stuffed :) )

But the quality is amazing. I couldn't believe the level of detail! So damn impressive!

Interesting choices for Sideshow to reveal.Personally,i m totally psyched by this line!Action figure news of the decade as far as i m concerned!Be nice to get an in with Sideshow too,and watch the development of these figures from the initial clay/wax sculpts, right down to finished product.Rosa Klebb,Donald Grant,Odd-Job,Largo,a 1/6th DB5....You may have to do a seperate forum for these figures! These are just my personal preferences by the way, nothing concrete.Just wishful thinking!Good times ahead, methinks.

I wasn't familar with the SIDESHOW line, so I checked out their web site. The site heading banner mentions their (upcoming) James Bond line, but doesn't have anything posted yet (12/01/01).
While the detail is fantastic looking, I don't think it will replace the Action Man 007 for those of us who use the AM as the basis for displaying the various costumes, gadgets, vehicles, etc Bond has used in his adventures. The poseability of the AM allows me to put Bond in the vehicle or replicate a pose from the particular scene I may be duplicating for my collection.
I'm sure I will add them to my collection, and they will fit in with the DRAGON 1/9 scale GOLDENEYE & TND static figures. I look forward to their release.

Great news there. Some very nice figures. If nothing else I'm going to atleast try and get the Bond figures, I'm hoping they'll release all five.

Do they release them all at once or progressively over the year?

And are they limited? That is, limited to a certain production number. I hope they are. It will mean that I'll have to buy more of them all at once but heck it will be worth it.

I've noticed they've announced no Bond girls yet. Bit disappointing. I want to get atleast one Bond girl as well. I don't overly have a favourite, but I'll pick the best looking :)
