The GoldenEye teaser was: "You were expecting someone else?"
Spot on Scaramanga. Thanks for pulling me up on that cock up.

BTW, Evil Doc Cheese, what would you charge me to make a similar logo to yours for me? It's a bit difficult to find a photo on the net of a white Persian with an eye patch, and a cigar out of the corner of it's mouth.
I shall have a little doodle tonight.
Actually whilst I'm doodling I might have a pop at doing that mini cartoon strip for Dr Cheese to star in.
I'm going to open up a new thread for ideas to help me with that. Maybe the cartoon I do for you can star in it blofeld's_cat!

Blue Eyes, is there any way of editing my user-name to read "Blofeld's Cat"?

I like it.
Your signature field should be
[ img="http://forums.commanderbond.net/Public/Uploads/Photo-280x85-gary.jpg"]
except remove the space after the '[' and before 'img'
However you may want to email Blue Eyes and ask him to post your signature to the server so you can change your photo if you want.

James Page (01 Nov, 2001 08:01 p.m.):
Good lord... What did I create? !!!
Seriously though BlueEyes - sorry if this thang has got a bit out of control.
Sorry James, I didn't mean to imply that this trend was in any at your feet, and I really don't think that there will be a bandwidth problem, but I actually did have that dream. (Not really the part about the deer and the wolf, that was from some book I read.)
The design of my logo came after someone spelled my nickname 'Asterisk'. Yes, the proper spelling for the word, but not the way I spelled my nickname. I wanted to emphasize the '
X' in my signature and I thought to myself its too bad I can't put some serifs on the asterisk to kind of make an
Xwithin the asterisk itself.
Then I remembered you. You had a image in your signature and if it wasn't because of some special privilege then I could do it too. I fired up Photoshop® and made up a logo. I had dug in to the UltraBoard Codes and found how to add images and I noticed the 'img=' command didn't have the 'not allow to use in your signature' warning. Eureeka. It could be done.
(You may have noticed that I am kind of a geek about using the UltraBoard Codes.)
Now I want you to know that when I was working on my design I was a little worried that the image was too large. Now my little feels dwarfed by the other signatures.

If that doesn't work, let me know, and I'll change it for you manually.

I've never been given a nick name that could be used here (most of them include naughty words )
Can anyone think of a good nick name I could use from now on in the CBN forums and one that would allow me to make a name logo?
Please help, I'm in great need of a nick name!

With a last name like Winter, you've got all these great 'Ice' titles floating around to choose from.

On your members profile page you can download an image by browsing your computer files.
Once you've done that you'll notice, on the left, the little white word "photo" under the big black word "photo".
Click on that and a window will open showing the photo.
The url (the address) of this page is the one to use in the following command, which you put in the signature field on your profile page:
img="url"
(all lower case, and no spaces)
Hope that helps, guys.
