So MSNBC/Newsweek has an interview with Charlie Higson up today. Content-wise it's not really anything new, but what is cool is in on page 2 there's a picture of Higson with "Bond Fan Athena Stamos" (aka Athena007)! :)

Check it here:
The Spy Who Loved Prequels - page 2

I'm wondering if this will be in the actual magazine as well. Not a bad little plug for CBn. :)

Hehe.

How this happened is they contacted Dave yesterday (out of the blue) and asked if they could use the pic (this pic was in our Higson in LA story). We said "heck yes" and also provided the Young Bond pic on page 1. They were very happy to get that in a decent resolution.

I love that when one of the largest news magazines in the U.S. (in the world?) needs something Bond related they turn to CBn. :)

A couple of interesting things in the article.
  • The IFP considers Bond as being born in 1920
  • The next villain will be Italian

I knew about 1920 (that's in our Higson LA article)...but the Italian villain is new. Another book 2 detail. :)

Well, yes. So it is. I read that part wrong when I read the article and was thinking only Higson had said 1920. (Damned dyslxesia)

I think he said it was CluckCluck or QuackQuack or OinkOink. Something like that anyway.

I just can't understand why Newsweek would choose that photo over one with pasty skinned guys like me, Dlibrasnow & Dr Shatterhand. :)
