It's well written... but I don't know... I'll never be able to accept Harry Bond...

Read the first few lines, then realised that I didn't want to be spoiled. I'll wait until its release.
It's a bit presumptious to call the book "Harry Bond" just because Harry Potter is popular. In actuality, what do the two characters have in common? They're young, and they attend school in England. That's really where the similarities end. Edited by Aussie21, 08 April 2005 - 02:55 AM. #4Posted 08 April 2005 - 02:35 AM
Are you planning on swiping up the book to read it, Aussie21?

I recommend this book for Bond fans to try out. Why give a strict opinion/idea before reading it?

LOL!!!
Actually... I eat books. Get all that knowledge through osmosis. #8Posted 09 April 2005 - 02:20 AM
yeah, no I meant the blatantly obvious capitalizing on Harry Mania... I'm sure you're not surprised that I said that though.... I'm certainly not the first. ANYWAY, lets not turn this into one of "those threads", so I won't say anything else about that... #9Posted 09 April 2005 - 02:22 AM
I'm about 100 pages in and loving every single page of it. I think its a wonderful, fun and entertaining book. Higson has a new fan in me.
