Been a while since Bond has been on free-to-air. And a fine film they've chosen, too.

I can't believe how ad-packed this was. Clocked in at close to three hours.
Still, I watched it all.

Ugh. 1 hour of commercials, sounds like some of the channels here.

Channel Seven throws in about 20% more ads then the other channels. And I bet 70% of the ads were about Channel 7 shows?

Did anyone else catch Category 6: Day of Destruction last night?
Now that was crammed with ads. The whole thing clocked in at almost four hours!

That was the most pathetic excuse for a show/move(?) I have ever seen. I kept watching waiting for something good to happen, but it was utter crap. Boring as hell, I should have gone to bed earlier!

You mean three hours of commercials don't you?

While it beat most of what clogs our screens these days [I'm looking at you, Dancing with the Stars, My Restaurant Rules and Starstruck, to name a few], that's no hard task. That was the most pathetic excuse for a show/move(?) I have ever seen. I kept watching waiting for something good to happen, but it was utter crap. Boring as hell, I should have gone to bed earlier!
It was subpar, sure, but at the end of it all, I couldn't help but wonder what the point was. The Day After Tomorrow did the nature-gone-wild thing much better, and it's still fresh in the public's minds.
Still, it rated well, coming in second for the night [securing a win for Seven for the evening - guaranteed, almost, given its running time], whilst Unfaithful, the other premiere movie for the evening, tanked with more than a million viewers switching off Nine after CSI: Crime Scene Investigation finished.

I refuse to watch channel 7 during ratings period. 25 would be the only thing I would watch, but that isn't going to be on any time soon.
