I just visited Roger Moore's website (yes he has his own website!) and I found this interesting bit of news:

Roger Moore's cameo in Bond parody
Former James Bond actor Roger Moore, who was 007 in films like Moonraker and A View To A Kill, has accepted a part in a soon to be filmed parody on the world's most famous spy, entitled Jane Bond. Appearing alongside Moore in the new James Bond satire are famous Hollywood faces Martin Landau and Raquel Welch, and the leading role is played by a woman this time, as the title suggests. Shelley Michelle, who was a body double for Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, and Kim Basinger in My Stepmother Is An Alien will play the deadly damsel. Jane Bond will start shooting in London next month.


I take it that nothing came of this and that somehow, production was stopped. Has anybody ever heard of this particular one before? I hadn't up until now nad I've never seen any mention of it on CBN anywhere.
