LR, FSS, and IB were collected in a US hardcover edition by Anvel Books in 1987. Anvel released ROH, NDMB, and NLF in a similar hardcover in 1989.Is this the first time that Bond continuation novels have received the omnibus treatment?

Is an "omnibus" strictly three or more stories?

Could've been this one, actually.I recall seeing Win, Lose Or Die and, I think, Scorpius put together in a hardback book. I didn't buy it [one of the Gardners I'm missing is Win, Lose Or Die], but I didn't buy it because I'm after the paperbacks.

Oh, whoops! I just copied the info from Amazon (when I wrote the article I didn't have the book yet). The trouble is each book starts at page 1, so when you flip to the back the last page is 250 (of Icebreaker). It's actually 780 pages! I'll change that. Thanks. That looks a lot more than 290 pages (as listed in the main page article) Zencat!

That's it! I'm moving to England. Right now!Picked up the omnibus at lunchtime. Somehow, the cover doesn't look so terrible now that the thing's in my hot little hands. The United Kingdom, 28 January 2004: it's possible to go into a bookshop and buy Bond novels by John Gardner - YAY!
Well, maybe not.....
However, it will be on my list of places to someday visit for sure!

It's says 1988...but it was published in 1989 (at least that's what I have in my notes in my database).I have the ROH,NDMB,NLF Omnibus by Avenel but it says its a 1988 edition instead of 1989. Heres a link to my scan of the cover ..
