The last I heard is they're trying for a summer 2005 release, with John McTiernan directing. But I heard somewhere else that Bruce Willis really interested in doing action movies anymore. But if Fox ponies up the dough, I'm sure he can be swayed...maybe have McClane die in this one, as well.

I think that its pretty much a lock that Bruce Willis will be in Die Hard 4 (pending approvial of how good the script is.) I heard that he agreed to another Die Hard as part of Fox's allowing hime to use the title of Tears of the Sun which they had rights to. I can't exactly remember where I heard this, but I think they are also trying to get Bonnie Bedillia, Reginald Veljohnson and William Atherton to return. Personally, I'm very interested in seeing how it turns out, although sadly the late Michael Kamen won't be doing the score.

Well, it's gotta be Alfred Hitchcock as my next favorite besides James Bond. When you've made over 50 films, and most of them are acclaimed masterpieces, or just great films, that's something to be proud of! i'm currently working on completing his collection, although, 54 films= a lot of time, and a lot of $$. :)

I also like the Jaws series, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Indiana Jones, Lord Of The Rings, I just love series! :) For me, action, adventure and suspense do it all! Comedy is great too.

Well, what I really think is a joke is that Willis is currently working on another terrorism/action flick called Hostage. Sometimes, the man comes across as quite a hypocrite...

But yes, I just realized a major portion of my list of things that I'm into!
- Stephen Sommers movies (the Mummy films - where's The Mummy Lives? - , Deep Rising, and the upcoming Van Helsing)

As far as a fourth Die Hard film goes, I could do without a return of the William Atherton character. His appearance in the second film was unbelievable and somewhat needless.

Jack: I like Sommer's work too. I had the pleasure of meeting him when I was in film school at a screening of The Mummy. Pretty nice guy.

Wow! Holy ****!!! That's awesome! And I'm glad to hear that he's a nice guy - he definately always comes across as a very down-to-earth guy, someone who just really loves what he does, and sets out to make movies that entertain people.

Darren: Yes, there are talks that Sommers has started a script for a third Mummy movie, which I heard will be called The Mummy Lives. I don't know anything beyond that - I guess we'll just wait and hafta see. We'll probably hear a lot more when Sommers' Van Helsing nears its release date. I believe Brendan Fraser even said that a third one is inevitable, and that he's up for it.
