Contestants,

Week Two was a big one, with the second challenge coming under sabotage from all directions. Congratulations to all of you who made it through, and commiserations to Jimbo007, who didn't.

This weeks challenge is a day late because for the past 24 hours I have been burying treasure.

There are three lots of the treasure now hidden over the CBN forums. The question is not so much where the treasure is but what it is. All three lots are labelled the same so once you find one the others should be easy. Players will not be told what the treasure is or what it is called - but you will know it when you find it.

To gain an exemption this week you will have to find one of the treasures and PM me its locale. One exemption is on offer for each treasure - a total of three. Once found you will not want anybody else to discover your loot as if two or more people discover it the exemption will be drawn randomly from amongst the successful pirates. Finding all three will provide you with the best chance of success.

Shouldn't be too difficult if you're willing to get your hands dirty. Clues will be posted every 48 hours if the treasures remain buried. Good hunting!

Okay I have a few questions:

Do we have to find the treasure before a specific date?

Is only one person entitled to one treasure?

Hang on are you saying there are three pieces of treasure for each contestant?

There are three pieces in total Bond111, if you find one your chances of gaining an exemption are relative to who else finds it.

I thought it was pretty straight forward:
There are three pieces of treasure hidden in the CBN forums. Whichever three players find them first gain an exemption from next weeks Mole quiz. If more than one person finds one of the pieces, then the winner is drawn at random.

I've had no luck so far so I think I'll wait till the first clue before I continue my search.

Ok Matt. Either Athena's post on 'a kissing Bond Girl' has got me hot under the colar or I've become dumb ( what an understatement ) I cannot see what Tangerand and DLibrasnow found. I know that they are cool clever dudes I've basically ruined my 'retina' through going through these forums.

I cannot wait until you give out a clue. And as I've said before your a clever dude, but being English as I am, all this about Prince Charles has got me upset. He should never of killed Diana. LOL

This is a give or take challenge. Those who have found the key have it, those who don't have not. Have's and have not's really.

There's little I can say that Tanger et al have not. All I can recommend : search for my treasure!!!

The CBN treasure hunt indeed proved to be an interesting affair with the key to finding the treasure not being where it was but what it was.

For those who hadn't figured it out already the first, and only, clue contained the best help :

"All I can recommend : search for my treasure!!!"

Indeed the treasure was simply three old posts of mine which i edited to read "TREASURE!!!". A simple CBN forums search for posts by "mattbowyer" with "TREASURE" in it would have provided the fruit. Following are the locations of the treasures and those who found them.

As per the challenge outline, for each treasure an exemption has been randomly drawn from amongst those who found it. Exemptions go to :

The remaining contestants will now answer The Mole quiz with he or she who knows least about the identity of The Mole being eliminated. The Mole has been at work this week, and at least one player should have seen how.

In 48 hours time bond111, Bondian, brendan007 or Tanger will be leaving based on this quiz.

This is the hardest elimination yet for today we lose one of this games most enthusiastic competitors. His contribution to each challenge has been great, sadly his knowledge of The Mole was not.
