I've heard one of Jamoriurqoauri's (how the hell do you spell that???!!!) songs, but not enough to hear what his singing style is.
But I'm not fussed who sings the title song, as long as David Arnold is doing the composing.

I love the suggestion of Bassey and Jones! Bond has never really had a duet and those two doing it together would be brillliant, after all, in a way they are the pioneers of Bond themes!
But guys, what about this, you completely forgot:- Whitney Houston! No joke, but their probably considering her.

The conventional choice would be someone like Dido. The not entirely inexplicable choice could be (shudder not) Cher (I kid you not; perennial rumour). The Rolling Stones would be fun.
Is it true, or is it a lie, that Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me was initially offered to EON who rejected it?

I never new that the Prop-heads were vocalless. But there you go you learn something new everyday.
Personally I wish that Frank Sinatra had done won, but well, that can't happen now. But I'd still love to see My Way in the end credits

If I can think of any sultry-voiced women who I think could do it, I'll let you know.
I think if they ever do Casino Royale, they oughta just do an instrumental theme for that one.

Before TWINE i was happy, to hear about a Group, but finally you only noticed the Girl in this rubish Video of "Westworld".
For that i would like to have Tom Jones again or ...really ... Robbie Williams.
From the Past i liked very much, Duran Duran`s Song.
It was a good Idea to make a new Way.

He doesn't seem too popular with you guys but we haven't had a male solo singer doing the song since Thunderball which is inexplicable. The female songstresses of late haven't been up to scratch (although Tomorrow Never Dies is one of my favourite Bond songs). I'd like to hear a Bond song from the point of view of Bond... which would be good for a 40th anniversary film. And Robbie would be the man to do it.
My second choice is Jamiroqui (which I can't spell either) but I don't think they'll be chosen... Robbie will please all generations in England and break him in America and (of course) get the Bond film producers that ultimate goal... a Bond theme that actually goes to number one thus getting them huge publicity for the film. The Tom Jones/Shirley Bassey duet would never get anywhere near the top ten...sadly this is probably how they think.
Am I sounding a little synical?

Blue Eyes (06 Apr, 2001 03:21 a.m.):
Don't the Propellorheads sing in their songs? I've never honestly heard one.
The Propellerheads consist of Alex Gifford on Synthesisers and Will Whyte on Drums thats it. They are an electronica band and so any vocals are samples or they get a singer in. If any one can check out some of Jamiroquais material I'm serious they would do a superb tune and there really keen.
