Scene Eight:

Setting: Istanbul, Turkey

(Shot from behind of Bond walking into a high class restaurant. He walks in and goes up a stair case which leads him to a small dining area in the second story. A Turkish man, named Abu Toba who knows inside information about the assassination, in casual clothing anxiously sits at a table. Bond is wearing a dark blue suit with a black tie. Bond sits opposite of the man at the small dinner table. Bond sits close to the stairs and the man sits close to a balcony that oversees the first floor.)

Bond:
What does it matter to you?

You have to do it well.

Scene 11:

Setting:Outside of Ross Irvin's mansion outside Katmandu, Nepal

(Shot of large mansion surrounded by lush wilderness. A jeep drives through a muddy dirt path towards the mansion. Shot of jeep parking outside the mansion.)

Scene 12:

Setting: Ross Irvin's mansion outside Katmandu, Nepal

(Shot of Bond being escorted by two men with large machine guns. Bond is in "safari clothes"-camouflaged jungle like gear. He is holding a small black briefcase in his left hand and his right arm has a large white cast covering it. He's escorted into a huge lavish living room. It features a large desk, several large book cases, a fire place, a tiger fur rug and other hunting prizes. The gunmen push Bond down into a chair. Ross Irvin walks into the room from another door. Irvin is a senior aged white man with a thin white beard. He's wearing dark khakis and a well tailored, black button-up shirt. A Panama like hat sits on his head. He sits at his desk and looks at Bond while smoking a cigar.)

Ross Irvin:
So, this is James Bond?

(Bond nods. Irvin exhales the smoke.)

Irvin, to one of the guards:
Is he armed?

Guard:
No.

Irvin:
Any wires?

Guard:
No.

(Guard takes Bond's briefcase and carries it towards Irvin.)

Guard:
But he did have this briefcase.

(Irvin takes the briefcase and opens it. It's full of stacks of British pounds. Irvin snaps his fingers at the two guards.)

Irvin:
Leave! This is purely a buisness transaction between Mr. Bond and myself.

(The two heavily armed guards leave the room. Bond slightly fidgets in his seat.)

Irvin, sighing:
Sorry about that old chap. Security is very important these days. Half the civilized world is out to stop my operations. The other half is funding them.

(Irvin takes off his hat and fans himself with it.)

Irvin:
It's bloody hot in here, eh?

(Bond stares at a giant stuffed grizzly bear.)

Irvin:
Admiring my trophy, Mister Bond? Ursus arctos. A grizzly bear I hunted down in northwestern Saskatchewan a few years ago. He was a tough mother. It took five days and several rounds to take him down.

Bond:
Sometimes the hunter becomes the hunted.

(Irvin exhales from his cigar again.)

Irvin:
Yes indeed. I hear you're interested in rare birds.

Bond:
Yes. I'd be interested in owning a red tailed hawk. Can you get me one?

Irvin, curiously:
Are you a bird enthusiast Mr. Bond?

Bond, grinning:
I've had my fair share of a variety of different birds. Can you get the hawk?

Irvin:
Yes, I have some expirence smuggling that particular specie.

Bond:
Keep the money and get me the hawk.

Irvin:
Very well!

(Irvin presses a button under his desk. Two guards walk into the room.)

Irvin:
Take this money and put it in the vault.

(One guard grabs the briefcase as they both walk towards the door. Irvin approaches Bond and shakes Bond's left hand but a look of fear covers his face.)

Irvin, to the guards:
Stop!

(The guardsstop and turn around towards Irvin.)

Irvin, in Hindi to the guards:
This man is an emissary! Kill him!

(Bond's "cast" swings backwards into Irvin's stomach violently-ala For Your Eyes Only-, who falls backwards. Bond had a gun in his right hand that was hidden under the cast. He shoots one of the guards down but the other pulls out his machine gun and shoots rapidly at Bond who dives behind a sofa near the fire place. Bond looks around and sees a large tortise's shell. He picks it up and stands up. The guard shoots at the shell until he'sout of ammo. Bond shoots the guard in the shoulder and then throws the shell at the guard which knocks him over. Bond walks over to Irvin and points his pistol at him while sitting on an ottoman.)

Bond:
Who did you sell that red-tailed hawk to?

Irvin:
I'd rather die than betray the confidentiality of my clients. Go ahead kill me! Or put me in jail! Either way I'll be in hell.

Bond:
How did you know I was an agent?

Irvin:
Your left arm. When we shook hands, your left hand was cold. And your wrist.

(Irvin sits up straight and rolls up his sleeves revealing a Omega Seamaster watch.)

Irvin, smiling:
Standard issue. Give my thanks to 003. Go ahead, arrest me you pathetic policeman. My organization will be up and running in days.

(Irvin spits at Bond's shoes. Bond shoots Irvin three times. Irvin falls down to the ground. Bond walks out the room.)

Scene 13:

Setting: Irvin's mansion

(Charles Robinson, in a black suit with a dark blue tie, cautiously walks into the front room of the well decorated mansion. He continues through a hallway littered with fur rugs and paintings. He enters the living room and sees the two dead bodyguards. He pulls out his gun from his holster inside his jacket and slowly walks towards the chair and ottoman Ross Irvin body still lies. Robinson see the dead body and looks around the room.)

Robinson, to himself:

(Robinson walks to the desk and tries to open the front desk drawer but it's locked. He pulls out his magnum gun and shoots it twice. He opens the drawer and pulls out a pile of paper. He searches through the papers. Shot of Robinson reading a document. Close up of the paper. It reads the name: Jonathan Chase. Robinson folds up the paper and places it in his pants pocket. He then puts his gun back in his holster in his jacket. He calmly walks out of the room.)

Scene Fourteen:

Setting: Secret board room of Koba Gupta Basu in his large living complex in Porbandar, India

(A very well lighted meeting room with a long table and eleven chairs. The walls are covered with bookshelves and a few end tables. At the end of the table, where there's no chair, a man stands and stares at the empty wall. He's Koba Gupta Basu. He's of Indian descent, well dressed, about six feet tall, walks with a wooden cane with a golden handle and has a limp. English is his second language to Hindi, so he has trouble speaking English. Basu is a well made man in the chemical industry. He is Vice President for Delhi Chemicals Inc. He has a hatred for the Britain, Pakistan and their inhabitants, which is explained later in the script. Shot of his back. Koba's face is not seen during the entire scene. Shot of a man dressed in dark but casual clothes walking into the room. This man's known as Bug. He's tall, thin and pale. He has great marksmanship.)

Koba Basu, in a deep tone:
What do you want, Bug?

Bug:
Ross Irvin's mansion was raided yesterday afternoon.

Koba:
Who's responsible?

Bug:
Based on the bullets, we suspect it was British intellegence. They could be on to us.

Koba, loudly:
British? What do those blue eyed devils want? Find out who's responsible, find out who they work for and eliminate them! Actually, send the cane men after them.

Bug, weakly:
Yes sir.

(Bug begins to walk out the room but Koba nonchalantly stops him.)

Koba:
Wait! How's the Pakastani agent doing?

Bug:
Bohr? He's still in fine condition in the bunker.

Koba:
Kill him and drop his body off provocatively in London. The press will have a field day!

Bug:
Yes sir.

(Bug walks out the room silently. Shot of Koba walking towards an end table with a statue of Vladimir Ilich Lenin. He pushes the eyes into the satue and this causes one of the bookshelves to swivel around leading a path into a small control room. He walks into the room and stands in front of several TV monitors. He looks at a small one on the right. He watches as the Pakastani agent, Bohr---who Ya Yumi impersonated, is shot in his head several times by Bug. Koba lightly laughs.)

Scene Fifteen:

Setting: River Thames, London, England

(A small motor boats gently sits anchored into the river while a man and woman relax on it in two folding chairs. They sit down togather on the sunny day for a few moments but then the woman spots something strange floating next to the boat.)

Woman, pointing:
What's that?

(The man looks overboard, and drags it onto the boat. He realizes it's a person and turns him over. It's the now dead Pakastani agent, Khindir Bohr. The man turns to the woman in horror.)

Man:
Call an ambulance now!

Scene 16:

Setting: Luxurious hotel in Katmandu, Nepal

(Shot of a tall, high class hotel. Shot of Bond walking in to the hotel with a gray suit and a black tie. He calmly walks up to the front desk where an attendant stands.)

Bond:
Reservation for James Bond?

Attendant, glances at a list:
Yes, it's room 721. That's the luxury suite!

(Attendant hands Bond a key. Bond suspiciously looks around the lobby. He slowly approaches an elevator. He steps in it but then two men walk towards it. Bond holds the door open as the men walk into it. One is walking with a cane, tin can and limp. The other has large sunglasses and walks with a walking stick. Once they enter the elevator doors close.)

Scene 17:

Setting: The elevator

(The man with the cane hits a button and stands next to the "blind man" who is also standing behind Bond. They stay stationary for a few moments before the blind man's walking stick has a knife insert out on the end of the stick. It makes a sharp noise when this happens. Bond quickly jumps around just before the blind man swings the stick at Bond. Bond knocks the stick out of the hands of the blind man and kicks the man down on the ground, unconcsious. The man with the cane lifts the cane up to reveal a large lead pipe hidden in the cane. He swings it at Bond's head, who ducks down, leaving a huge dent in the elevator. The man kicks Bond in the head and Bond falls on the ground. The Man lifts up the pipe about to smash Bond with it, when Bond looks up and uses his legs to sweep kick him from under. The lead pipe lands on the head of the man, killing him. Bond stands up as the elevator door opens at the floor. He presses all the buttons on the pannel and looks at the two dead would be assassins. He throws a coin in the tin can of the dead man and walks off the elevator.)

Scene 18:

Setting: Lavish hotel hallway/hotel suite

(Shot of Bond briskly walking down a hallway until he reaches a room in the middle of the hallway, numbered 721. Bond pulls out a small scope and puts it over the peep hole[on the first of two doors], allowing him to see through it. Shot of a short, unknown man[looks irrelevant] walking through the high class living room area. Bond puts the peep hole reverser back in his pocket and pulls out his gun. He opens the right door with a key and slowly enters the room with his arm extended out with a gun in his hand. Shot of the man hiding behind a sofa and puting on a pair of brass knuckles. Bond slowly and cautious walks towards the sofa. The man jumps out at Bond and punches him in the stomach. Bond stumbles a bit and the gun flings across the room. Bond punches the man in the face and grabs his right arm. Bond knocks the brass knuckles out of his hand and tosses the man who lands on an ice bucket with a bottle of champagne in it. He struggles to gets up but grabs a wine opener and holds it as if it was brass knuckles. He jumps out at Bond who was about to retrieve his gun. The man swings the wine bottle opener at Bond a few times. Bond dodges it successfully, but the man kicks Bond in his upper chest and sweep kicks him. Bond falls to the floor. (Shot of Bond on his knees with the gun pointed at him. Sound of a shot going off. Bond stays still. Man's body falls down. Shot of Bond getting up and shaking hands with Charles Robinson.)

Bond, looking at the body of the dead man:
Well, the man did have fine tastes in wine. What are you doing here?

Robinson:
M sent me.

Bond:
It's great to know my superiors have confidence in me.

Robinson:
This has nothing to do with your ego. In case if you haven't been paying attention, Britain and Pakistan may be on a path towards war. The man who assassinated Grant was found dead in River Thames. Not only that, he was a Pakastani secret operative named Khindir Bohr. The press has labeled it the Bohr War.

Bond:
It's good to see the BBC hasn't lost it's sense of humor.
