HUGH JACKMAN
He looks like a cross between a young Sean Connery (Dr. No) and Clint Eastwood. He sounds a bit like Connery too.
My second choice: Adrian Paul (used to be my first choice- He might be shorter than Connery though)

I don't think that Jackman would make a good Bond. But he was brilliant as Wolverine in the X-Men.

When I saw X-Men, it never crossed my mind, that Hugh Jackman might be a possible Bond. I wouldn't think him to be adequate.
But I do have another suggestion: How about Stephen Dorff? Yes, I know, he's an American, an so he can't be a contender. But: 1. He definitely looks right to me, very Bond-ish. 2. He is definitely capable of doing action (he was the villain in "Blade" (1998), fighting Wesley Snipes). And 3. He hasn't done a truly big movie (except for Blade, if you want to call that a big movie).
Another actor - this time British-born - I could imagine being Bond is Guy Pearce (who was in L.A. Confidential, together with Russel Crow).
And, well, yes, Russel Crowe is - IMO - in deed a good suggestion...
Let's hope that Brosnan will go on for some time longer. At the Moment, he's certainly the best!

If Hugh Jackman is cast as Bond I'm going to report no Bond news on the topic. I could not bare it!

Who is Adrian Paul?

I think both are good suggestions. Much more appropriate than Russell Crowe (who'd not only be miscast, bit after Gladiator, much too expensive!).

My first choice would definately be Jude Law. However this would depend on when Pierce leaves, and whether jude would look old enough.

I know who you're talking about now But I can't comment cause I haven't actually seen him in action. He may be building a bit of a presence if you consider the Highlander: End Game flop.

I watch a lot of WWf wrestling action and awhile back he was on Smackdown with Edge promoting Endgame and the guy just doesn't look Bondian to me.

The British born lead in the "Highlander" TV series. Rather like a young Connery in appearence, moves well and handles himself nicely in action scenes, but I'm not sure whether he has the acting chops and "presence". He says he was tested before "GoldenEye".

HUGH JACKMAN!!!!!
HAHAHA!!!!
WHo saw Swordfish?? I saw it with my mum, and it was a bit embarrasing when he had an "encounter" with Helga. Remember?? It was the part where he had to hack into something in less than 60 seconds, he had a gun to his head and Helga to his............... yeah.
Anyways, I dunno about him replacing Pierce. Frankly, i don't want Pierce to go! I can't think of anyone god to replace him.
