The perfect Bond film, in my opinion.

It IS an amazing Bond film, but I take a point off because the ending with the raft is just soooo incredibly cheesy... (But then again, so is the entire Bond series of films, aren't they?) Also the worst Felix to appear in a Bond film.
Other than that, Connery is at his very best as James Bond. Great fight and action scenes, and my favorite one-liners of all the Bond films. "I think he got the point" "She's just dead" BWAHAHAHA! Classic stuff.

The film is pure class from start to finish. I agree with everything Jeff said. And don't forget some of the best one liners ever.
Oh yeah, and as soon as I strike it rich, I'm off to the Bahamas.

It sent me to sleep once, and that's not good.
The pre-titles is great but the main film is slow and lacking...

I think the reason TB (that's 'Thunderball', not 'Tuberculosis') is found to be slow is because of the 'sliding' scene changes and fading in and out. No matter how fast the action is, a film can be edited to seem fast or slow. And I sort of like that in Thunderball, it's an epic, and so should be epically long.
I can only hope 'The Long Days' lives up to my expectations!

TB is great definantly rivals FRWL and OHMSS probably 8.5-9 Pretty much a perfect movie. Also arguably the best written. Most of Connery's lines are all one liner's throughout the film. There good too. Makes me cringe when i see the new ones.

Well, maybe you are right. Didn't know about the JFK trivia.
