The TND score was almost perfect. And Sheryl Crow did a great job. She was at least 10 times better than Madonna.
No more Madonna, please!

As I've said, bring back k.d. lang and give her a shot at the title song again. She did a great one ("Surrender"), but it was not used as the title song. Instead, they used that Sheryl Crow POS. k.d. has a terrific, torchy, belting kinda voice, perfect to take the torch from Shirley Bassey. Give her a shot.

And yes, Sheryl Crow was 10 times better. I loved TND soundtrack!

I wil see Madonna not back for a time.
Mabey an other time, but with an other kind of song.
And as she don't come back is that good to.

I prefer other people that must sing the song first.

Elton John,Ronan Keating (with of without Lulu),Tom Jones,K.D Lang,Robbie Williams,Tina Turner,Sheryl Crow..

I thought Madonna's song was the aural equilevant of being duncked into ice cold water and tortued by scorpion veniom...it put me off the rest of the movie to be honest, to the point of almost walking out the theatre :)

Truthfully, if you are a Bond fan, I don't know how you could say that about Shirley Bassey's tracks. She did 3 songs! I don't how her tracks could be "****"

Your comment doesn't make any sense....There is nothing that says every Bond fan has to like Shirley Bassey's tracks...thats like saying you have to like Roger Moore because he was in seven movies or Timothy Dalton because he was in two movies, but I have noticed a number of fans on here don't like Roger Moore or Timothy Dalton.
Alternatively, since Madonna's title track got the okay from EON, does every Bond fan have to like her song? I happened to love it, but I respect the views of those who for some incomprehensible silly reason were disappointed by it.
I simply hate the Shirley Bassey tracks. Just as I like John Barry's work in the series and hate David Arnolds. It's all personal preference. Voicing our opinions is the very freedom our boys are out there in Iraq fighting for.

I think it's great Madonna did a song for DAD. But I honestly don't think she is cut out for James Bond. I feel her song just didnt' fit with DAD. Maybe it's me, but I hope they don't have her do anymore tracks for Bond movies.

I like Diamonds are forever a litle bit more than Goldfinger.
But she make the song of Moonraker to and that is here 2 best of the three.

1. Diamonds are forever
2. Moonraker
3. Goldfinger.

It seems like you were going to say nothing that hasn't been said in other threads hundreds of times and everyone's right in a way, ok?

If you liked Madonna, you'll be pleased to know that MGM is negotiating with Britney so she can sing a modified version of her hit song from the blockbuster hit movie Crossroads.

Did you say "Madonna's DAD song is still rocking" or "still sucking"? I'll agree with the later.

I could empathize with Bond becasue I felt I was being tortured as I listened to that "song".

The biggest torture is not her track, but her cameo.

Here is my two cents on the subject. I did like Madonna's cameo in Die Another Day as Verity, but her title song really, really sucked! The only reason that I actually listen to it is that it is a Bond theme song. Personally I haven't really liked Madonna's music since before "Ray of Light" when she started getting all techno. Since then her music has really gone down hill, and I have listened to a couple of songs off her new album and they seem to keep going in the same direction. Please! Please! Please! lets not bring her back to do another title song. Also I fail to understand the logic of how anyone can say that her song is better than Shirley Bassey's songs. "Goldfinger" "Diamonds Are Forever", and "Moonraker" are classic songs for classic movies. As for "Die Another Day", I loved the movie but the title song is just one giant train wreck!

Its a queer joke, but u know what i mean...

Hmm.. in my opinion Madonna's song is great.. I liked it a lot when I heard it on the radio even though I was like 'What the [censored]?! How the hell would this fit the movie?!' Well when I saw it in my opinion the song fits the movie very nicely.. it fits the credits sequence very well. Now if you look back at all the bond songs then youll be like 'Why the heck they went to Techno?!'. Now I have a question.. remmebering the credits are fast-moving, and go at the pace of Madonna's techno song.. which other song could replace it that actually goes the way classic bond was?! I would say none at all...

Here here, can't get enough of the song even eight months after Die Another Day. Hearing it was the peak of the DAD 'waiting period'. Deepsky remix absolutely rocks too.
