Has anyone else noticed that the deck of playing cards used in the casino scene in GoldenEye had no numbers on them?

That is pretty obvious error considering all the actors, director, camera men etc looked right at them.

How hard would it be to get another deck of cards?

Or is there a reason for this? Do they not use numbered cards in Monte Carlo?

I just watched my GE DVD the other day and I found this to be quite odd.

I suppose they didn't want to make the 006/007 joke too obvious

I don't believe they have to be numbered at all. I believe they are colour coded. But correct me if I'm wrong.

For an interesting piece of trivia, the round casino chips from LTK were apparently reused in GE.

They don't need to be numbered. Unless you can't count the number of symbols on the cards. Baccarat cards are different from say poker or canasta cards.

Where were the casino chips used? The plaques look more like the ones used in OHMSS to me.

I heard the cards were intentionally unmarked as some sort of symbolism. As I can't remember at the moment that piece of trivia is a bit useless. Though I think it was conveying the fact that enemies of today were faceless, and the fact he was playing cards with Onatopp was the clincher.
