does anyone know where that scar that pierce has on his right side of his face, above his upper lip come from? sometime after TND AND before TWINE he did something, i was guessing on a film between the two he hurt himself

where did the scar come from?

Nope, if i'm correct I believe this scar came when a stuntman came leaping at him and his helmet smacked into his lip during a Tomorrow Never Dies fight scene, hence it appearing during the stealth boat sequence (it was a real scar, but as Bond was bloodied anyway, it looked like part of the makeup).

yeah it happened on TND in the finale on the stealth boat. It was Brosnan's fault and they had to change the angle of some of the shots because they film out of sequence till the internal stitches healed

Although the scar wasn't intended, it brings Pierce closer to Fleming's Bond, who has a scar on his cheeks.

Yeah. but Fleming's Bond had a three inch vertical scar running down the right cheek. Connery looks like he has in in some of the early films.

The back cover photo of the movie tie-in edition of Diamonds Are Forever shows Connery looking like having a vertical scar down his right cheek. In addition with the hair curl he looks almost like how Fleming described Bond.Originally posted by 1q2w3e4r
