-during the CGI wave scene was an homage to music in thunderball
in thunderball the partwhere bond is fighting colonel jaques buvawl (I have no Idea how to spell it and I don't wanna go to IMDB right now) there is fast action music, this is what I'm talking about
Mr. Kil kind of reminded me of Gabor (TWINE)
Vlad slightly reminded me of boris (Goldeneye)
on the plane in the finale, there is a part where bond stands against the wall and slams his elbow into the face of a man coming out a door, ike he did to board the stealthship in TND
then jinx throws a knife into a man's neck, as wai lin did with the ninja star in TND on the stelth ship
I think one of the most obvious:
when Gustav Graves Parachutes from the plane when we first see him, he uses a british flag for the chute, ike bond did in TSWLM
also, perhaps an homage to LALD as Graves and Moon are the same perspn as Kananga and Mr. Big were the same
an Homage to Moonraker: World domination wanted (but was it world domination? they only mention reuniting Korea, but Graves say "Japan is a bug, waiting to be squashed, and the west will cower with fear" of something)
car homages, in the teaser I saw the DB5, also jinx's T-bird may have been an homage to Jill's T-Bird in DIamonds are Forever

I also think that Mr Kil. is a modern Oddjob. But the sunglasses are a bit much, he also wears them in TWINE, and I think from memory the pre-titles of OHMSS
I don't think the T-Bird is a homage, unless to Fleming's own one.
Tilly Masterson drove a Ford Mustang as did Fiona from TB and Tiffany Case in Diamonds are Forever.

Arnold seems to pay homage to himself with using a few cues from TWINE and TND.
Thats all I've picked up.

I also think the whole genetic manipulation of peoples looks has hints back to Diamonds Are Forever.

- Also, when Bond sneaks into the restricted area of the Cuban Clinic through a patient's room, he grabs a grape from a fruit bowl and pops it into his mouth on the way out, a la Connery in Thunderball, after exiting Count Lippe's room.
- also, Zao's death was reminiscent of Trevelyan's with the chandelier taking the place of the satellite antenna.
- and on the atonov at the end, Graves shoots a hole in the plane depressurising the cabin, like Goldfinger did in, well, Goldfinger.

Okay, some of these are really good, but this IS a Bond film, after all. They're are going to be a LOT of similarities, I'm afraid.

I think it would be cool to see the official site release a list of all the intentional homages.

Wasn't the jetpack in the lab the one from the Thunderball opening?
The fact that Col. Moon seemed to die twice, reminded me off 'You Only Live Twice'. This is also odd because Gustav could not sleep, ('once for yourself and once for your dreams') almost as if he was getting a second life becuase he could not dream.

wow, that's heavy, didn't think of that, It may not be intended to be an homage, but It's a pretty good notion

- Bond

That was mentioned on another thread, but it was something I noticed while watching the movie - I really enjoyed it. Bond is a lot more focused when his mission is personal. In LTK it's to get the guy who had his friend (Leiter) maimed, and Leiter's wife raped and murdered. In DAD it's to clear his name and find out who sold him out.
LTK is my second favorite Bond film, so the first third of DAD was VERY enjoyable for me. By the end I wasn't quite as happy, though....

Dr. No - the radar noises from the very beginning of the movie heard when Bond escapes the health ship. Also Gustav's robotic hand like Dr. No's metal hand.
Goldfinger - wager made on duel with diamond, like the wager on the gold game made with gold bar.
You Only Live Twice - Bond faking his death in Hong Kong harbour. Also the incredible tiny letters found inside something else.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service - the DNA clinic in a secuded place.
Diamonds Are Forever - scorpions used. Also car driving in awkward position.
The Man With The Golden Gun - the diamond in Jinx's navel like that dancer who loses hers when Bond swallows it.
Moonraker - swordfight destroying valuable property, and glass.
For Your Eyes Only - singer of title song appearing in movie. Also, the guy on the skidoo flipping over the invisible car was similar to the scene in FYEO where the guy flips off motorbike into window.
A View To A Kill - parachuting into a major European city. Also the surfing on the ice and water scene.
The Living Daylights - the statue of a head of a General featured prominently throughout climax.
Licence to Kill - Jinx using the control of the laser to cut off Mr. Kil's arm similar to Sanchez using a very similar control to feed Leiter's legs to the sharks.
GoldenEye - bullet in gunbarrel flying at viewer. Also Jinx's dive from the top of the wall similar to Bond's bungee jump. Plus the plot point of having an MI6 agent being a traitor. Also, Bond's watch with detonator and laser.
Tomorrow Never Dies - the entire "Gun under the pillow" scene.
The World Is Not Enough - explosion goes off right in front of Bond followed by alarms and sprinklers going off.
I'll post more if I can think of them.

The whole scene with M briefing Miranda Frost has printed FRWL all over it. It's just like the scene with Klebb and Tania Romanova. M walking around Frost just like Klebb and talking something that Frost started as a cipher clerk (like Tania). This is all too obvious for being incidentially (and Tamahori likes FRWL a lot).
I think that there are lots more small and not so obvious references to spot, but it needs a DVD to check it all out. But we shouldn't overdo it. Not everything that has certain similarities to the older movies can be taken as a reference. If we would count that, then every Bond movie would be full of references... "Look, Bond sleeping with a blonde woman, just like in... " no, folks:p
And here's one that just had to be in DAD, but hasn't been: I missed a good friend from the old days, Victor Tourjansky, the drinking guy with the bottle from TSWLM, MR and FYEO. I was hoping something like this would be there. Or did I blink and miss him?

TLD- Bond using the "traction" feature on the Aston Martin in DAD, it's used to a somewhat similar effect in TLD.
TND- Paris' question "Tell me James, do you still sleep with a gun underneath your pillow." He does just that in DAD.
AVTAK- Bond snowboards in Siberia. In DAD, Bond parasurfs.
LTK- the main villian talks too much before killing Bond. DAD, Graves/Moon talks too much before dispatching Bond.

You Only Live Twice:
Bond (a white westerner) "becomes" Asian (Japaneese) to hide from the enemy (Blofeld/SPECTRE)
Die Another Day:
Moon, an Asian (Korean), "becomes" a white westerner to hide from his enemy (Bond)
