George Lazenby and Bond Girl Lana Wood (Plenty O'Toole, Diamonds Are Forever) are scheduled to be at the 2014 Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention at the Hunt Valley Wyndham Hotel, Hunt Valley, Md., Sept. 18-20.

Both will be signing autographs, doing photos, and answering questions. Lazenby will also be attending a screening of On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Presented on the big screen with a superb digital transfer, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1968) is considered by Bond fans as one of the four or five best in the franchise. Lavish production, beautiful color… and weekend guest George Lazenby adds class to a great movie. It is quite different from the formulaic films one would later expect from the series, and the sort of film Bond was gravitating towards with Thunderball (1964) and You Only Live Twice (1966). It certainly delivers on the promise of sexual innuendo and lots of provocatively dressed women, but it’s a different sort of Bond in that it seems to be more straight-faced and harsh, culminating in what is considered a moving ending. It is also probably the closest to Fleming’s version of Bond outside of Casino Royale (2006). If you have not watched the movie in years or want to revisit the beautiful Swiss Alps, here’s your chance.
