"Was I willing to go straight back into a room with a writer and start work on the same set of characters and the same scenarios as I've been working on for the last three years? No. The idea made me feel physically ill."

Sounds like it's probably a good thing he stepped back.

Who can blame him?

After a few other projects he'll hopefully get the bug to return

Yes, the character and plot fatigue is natural for someone who has additional ambitions beyond Bond, but I'm sure he'll be back in the future all being well. Mendes for Craig's finale works for me.

Personally, I'm willing to wait for him to finish his projects before he comes back to do another Bond movie. Id hate to see someone else screw up a good thing with Daniel Craig right now.
