Tonight, Michael Apted will be coming in my job for a Q & A on his new movie 56 Up. Should be interesting.

Ask him what was going through his mind in 1999, if you have the chance to.

Yea, it seems like he did something important that year, but I can't quite put my finger on it....

Well, he came in asking for my name because I was the one that came and introduced him to the audience. I walked in and said, "Thanks for sticking around folks! Please welcome the director of 56 Up, Michael Apted!" He came and did his Q & A, got a huge applause and went on his way. He was a bit disappointed with the attendance of people, expecting it to be a bigger crowd. But he left after and he was fine.

Before the Q&A we chatted for a bit. I said to him how I loved The World Is Not Enough and that it was one of my favorite James Bond films. He asked me what I thought of the recent film and my reply was, "I thought it was great but I'm just not the biggest fan of Daniel Craig. The films have become more like Jason Bourne and less like James Bond." He agreed with me and said, " They are more stylized. But I'm very grateful that you liked my film."
