I'm not sure if this topic has been done before, but I welcome one and all to share your opinions of what you think is the most underrated Bond film. I quite liked Die Another Day, more for the action than anything else.
Most underrated Bond film?

IMO, there are three fighting for that place: TMWTGG, AVTAK and DAD.

Agreed on AVTAK.
I would make the argument that Licence to Kill, A View to a Kill, and Quantum of Solace would be the three that I would say are vying for the title of most underrated.

I'd say both the Dalton ones are underrated, as well.

I have to say 'Licence To Kill' - it just came out at the wrong time and following the 12 year run of light-hearted Roger Moore Bond films, Dalton was always going to have an uphill struggle bringing the series into a more real/Fleming-esque direction. At least Daniel Craig had 4 years for people to simmer before bringing Bond back, Dalton only had 2.
So 'Licence To Kill' gets my vote - a strong cast with real characters who could easily populate a Fleming novel, fantastic action sequences that a truly memorable, a decent story and a strong performance as Fleming' Bond by our man Dalton. Very under-rated, sad to say.
Second and third place would be 'A View To A Kill' for being great fun with plenty of passion injected from everyone and a fantastic villain, and 'Quantum Of Solace' for always being in the shadow of 'Casino Royale' and actually having a good story, decent characters and good action sequences.

Licence To Kill for me as well.

I think both Dalton entries are not underrated anymore since people have come around on that and recognized those two for their merits.

Most of the John Glen films in the 80s--Dalton's double bill, FYEO and Octopussy. They're either too much in the shadow of the lighter 70s Bonds (DAF included) or ahead of their time (The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill.)
I would say AVTAK deserves its place near the bottom, though I did have a roommate who thought that was the best Bond movie ever.

Tanya Roberts sure puts a lot of passion into screaming "JAMES!" every few minutes.
Sorry, that was too easy.

I'd have to say Octopussy followed by Licence to Kill and Quantum of Solace.
