A shame the pictures don't work...but here's something I made for all you CBn'ers for the festive season...

Thankfully, it seems we've all survived the end of the world, which is good! So that was akward for the Mayans, wasn't it. What do the youngsters say now? "Epic Fail!"
Well. What a year it's been for James Bond. Turning 50 years old, who'd have thought it back in 1962 when that Darby O'Gill actor first uttered the immortal words "Bond, James Bond" that we'd be seeing the juggernaut that is the 23rd 007 film, 'Skyfall', smash records around the world and inch it's way to becoming the highest grossing James Bond film ever and become just the second "Billion Dollar Bond".
We've celebrated the milestones of such a legacy one will not been seen again, probably not in our lifetime, and that has been very special to do not just as a Bond fan, but to share them with you fellow CBn'ers. Through highs, lows, excitement and dissapointment spanning the last year, it's been an unforgettable one for everything Bond related and I will miss the euphoria it's brought and the life breahted into the series to all peoples around the world discovering either a new or old passion for 007.
I for one have re-discovered my love for James Bond. Not jus the character, but the actors who've played him over 5 decades and the talent behind the camera. From all the special documentaries, film re-runs, Blu-Ray release, video games and wealth of books, my passion for 007 has never been higher and I can't imagine my life without 007 in it. Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton, Brosnan and Craig. The word "Proud" doesn't come close for me.
And the current affairs haven't been over-shadowed too. There has been elation, scandal, celebrations, great tragedy, historic moments and unforgettable spectacle across the world in the shape of politics, sports, entertainment, religion and other areas.
We have a lot to look forward to in 2013 I am sure - big new films out for the film fanatics, a great line-up of sport on the horizon, new developments in global politics and current affairs and I am sure there will be many moments we will remember forever.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, however you will be celebrating or spending a well earned break over the festive season.
I wish you and your loved ones and friends a magical time this season and you all stay safe and enjoy yourselves however you find solace to do so.
And a very big Happy New Year to you - James Bond's 51st year and one that I am sure will throw more surprises, revelations, releases and scandals for us to debate and muse about.
Thank you all for an unforgetable 2012 - James Bond's 50th Year.
"God bless us, every one!"
