OK, so I was not sure what to put in the title but I had something of a curious thought earlier today. Bond was declared dead when he went MIA and M wrote his obituary, right? Now, everyone at MI6 knows he survived and came back and fought for queen and country again but is he still assumed dead by the outside underworld (criminal organizations, enemies, Quantum if they are still active)? Could Bond 24 start like post-title sequence YOLT?

Well, it would give the likes or Mr White a shock, were Bond to go up against him again
in future Bond films, providing he doesn't know the goings on of Skyfall, and Bond going after
Silva.
