Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the similarity between Javier Bardem and David Walliams? This was about five minutes after he first appears and after that I just couldn't take it seriously any more!

Javier Bardem or is it David Walliams?

Not me I'm afraid! It was Bardem all the way.
If anything, shades of Christopher Walken's eccentric Max Zorin were the only times Silva blurred into someone else, but that's a good thing for me, and it wasn't for long anyway.

Funny thing actually. When I was in the cinema, I found that Bardem resembled Walliams a lot. Just one shot though, when he began to unbutton Bonds shirt.

I'm not sure about David Walliams, but film reviewers have certainly enjoyed commenting on Javier Bardem's performance as Silva.
My favourite, and I can't remember who wrote it : "Silva looks like the missing link between Hannibal Lecter and Lee Liberace". :-)
