I don't recall Bond replying to the 'one piece' line, I'll have to pay particular attention to that scene when I see it again tomorrow.

Yeah, I didn't get that either. There were several lines that I couldn't make out, like M and Tanner's murmuring during the inquiry. At least it made narrative sense for those lines to be very quiet. The most annoying mumble was Bond's last line to Q in the gallery. Q says something like "Return the equipment in one piece", and then Bond mumbles something. And as much as I love Craig as an actor, it's not the first time he's sacrificed the intelligibility of a line for the sake of mumbly authenticity. He could give James Caan a run for his money. It's especially weird to mumble the last line in a scene, which is presumably some sort of comic punchline or dramatic sting that ought to be heard.
" Brave new world."

Can anyone recall what Bond said right after the throwing of the knife in the chapel? I couldnt make it out! Thanks!

In the National Gallery, I think the scene ends with Craig mumbling something along the lines of "Brave new world" in response to "Return the equipment in one piece".

I have to say there was a massive difference between sound quality in the Imax showing I first attended and the subsequent 'standard' cinema I saw the film in second time round. The mumbling you identify, sadly, was present in both.....

There was one bit where he shouted into the house asking whether Bond was getting hot in there, not knowing that he had fled into the tunnel shortly before the house blew up.Speaking of not being able to make out what was said, what did Silva shout out on numerous occasions outside of Skyfall? I made out one " can you come out to play" but he said alot more that I wasn't able to catch.

Good question...I could have sworn he made a quip right after throwing the knife and then the 'Last rat standing' comment comes at the end of that scene as Silva turns and staggers towards Bond and collapses. Can anyone recall what Bond said right after the throwing of the knife in the chapel? I couldnt make it out! Thanks!
However, I had eaten at least half a pound of sherbet sweets and a pint of Coke by then, so I could well be mistaken...

"Everyone listen to me - don't you dare touch her! She's mine."
"Can your friend come out and say hello?"
"Are you getting warm?"
"Just make sure Bond's dead!"

I think M asks him what took him so long or where has he been or something like that and he says he was in deep water. Then he notices the wound.
Ahh! We have a DAD reference here. Just like when Jinx asks Bond what took him so long after he rescued her from the ice hotel.

And as much as many would not want to hear this, we have a NSNA reference here:
Fatima Blush telling her henchmen not to touch Bond because "he's mine"!
I'll post these in the SF reference thread.
