Welcome to CBn Blofeld! Great names guys, thanks for sharing!
May I extend my public welcome to to you on CBn, Ernst - (after my PM welcome) I love your fascinating looking avatar and the fact you had the foresight to guess that your username had never yet been used on CBn!
Thank you again, SILHOUETTE MAN. And thank you, thecasinoroyale.
Appreciate the compliment on the avatar as well. So rather than take the gamble, I came up with this avatar that intends to be just as ominous as my original intention with Pleasence/Blofeld.

My username is taken not from Bond but Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest; its the non-existent spy who Roger O. Thornhill (Cary Grant) is confused for by Philip Vandamm (James Mason). Which I guess kinda fits a mostly lurker pretty well.

I did Wikipedia-ing about the James Bond series and I found out that Q's real name was Major Boothroyd, and since I really like Q (only the Desmond Llewelyn version does it for me), I saw it fit to christen myself on this forum as 'MajorBoothroyd'. And now you know.

Actually, I was rather surprised when I registered that nobody had taken the name...
