Haha, no, not really. Although I'm a huge Tintin fan as well; I have the complete collection of all the Tintin books.

Blofeld was always my favorite Bond villain, and one I would have liked to have seen more of if not for the whole McClory rights to Thunderball unfortunately preventing that notion.

Welcome to CBn Blofeld! Great names guys, thanks for sharing! :)

May I extend my public welcome to to you on CBn, Ernst - (after my PM welcome) I love your fascinating looking avatar and the fact you had the foresight to guess that your username had never yet been used on CBn!

Thank you again, SILHOUETTE MAN. And thank you, thecasinoroyale.

Appreciate the compliment on the avatar as well. To be perfectly honest, my original intention was to use a image of Donald Pleasence as Blofeld, but noticed in the "Support and Suggestions" - 'Set an Avatar' thread that Eon copyrighted images are prohibited. So rather than take the gamble, I came up with this avatar that intends to be just as ominous as my original intention with Pleasence/Blofeld.

Chose my name many years ago, when I used to write for fan magazines, just so that my own name didn't crop up too may times. And for those that don't read the books, it's 007's cover name in TMWTGG.

When I initially signed up in 2002 it was Mark Hazard, but when I came back (a couple of years later), I had changed my internet provider and email address etc which weren't recognized so I added the _.

The name 'Goodnight' was the first thing that popped into my mind when I signed up.

Anyway it's seems to have stuck now, but you can always call me Scarlett. :)

Good question. All I know the username is probably little over ten years old. How I came up with it escapes me at the moment.

Mostly a lurker, but I get chatty every time a Bond film comes out or I finish one of the books.

My username is taken not from Bond but Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest; its the non-existent spy who Roger O. Thornhill (Cary Grant) is confused for by Philip Vandamm (James Mason). Which I guess kinda fits a mostly lurker pretty well. ;)

Once upon a time I would probably have kept my name secret. But since it pops up on the main page whenever I put up an article...;)

My name is Tony DeCaro. And yes, it's Italian.

I did Wikipedia-ing about the James Bond series and I found out that Q's real name was Major Boothroyd, and since I really like Q (only the Desmond Llewelyn version does it for me), I saw it fit to christen myself on this forum as 'MajorBoothroyd'. And now you know.

Actually, I was rather surprised when I registered that nobody had taken the name...
