On IMDB Skyfall cast list there's an actress called Nichola Fynn, without any character name next to it.
Could she fit the profile to play Miss Moneypenny?

I doubt it solely on the fact that we've seen Eve in the field during the trailers and Moneypenny is not a field agent. That being said, Christopher Nolan kept saying that Marion Cotillard was NOT playing Talia Al Ghul....

Moneypenny wasn't a field agent the same way Q wasn't the resident computer hacking expert, at least not explicitly. I sort of fully expect Eve to end up being Moneypenny too, even if it's not her actual name.

IE, "Because of the attack that compromised MI6, administrative staff now require code names to protect their identities, not just M."

But that wouldn't explain how Bill Tanner gets away with being Bill Tanner, I suppose. It could be as simple as "Eve Moneypenny." The fact that they haven't revealed her last name and Harris pointedly referred to it in an interview as "something that will probably get a laugh" sort of seals the deal in my mind.

Eve is not Moneypenney, that rumor had absolutely zero weight to it.

However, M does have an assistant in this film named Vanessa....

Vanessa may well be among those killed in the attack on MI6, thus leaving a vacancy in the post of M's assistant.

Whether she is or isn't Moneypenny (Eve that is - my gut says no, for what that's worth), if she is I just hope they pull it off right.

I'm kinda thinking that:

If Dench M is killed and someone else takes over, this film or next, then that's the time to get a new 'penny. I haven't been following too closely, but it seems that this is still a possibility.
