What I can't stand are people that blatantly soot off against the new Bond feel (The Craig Era) According to some people, These films are too serious and not too witty and sly enough like the classic films. And That Bond never falls in love. I was so irritated that I ended having to sign into YouTube to basically explain this new look, new feel, new style, but that in the end its all going to be the classic James Bond we all know and love.
Not trying to rant here, it just irritates me when people talk the talk and they cant walk the walk. With one going far enough to say that the books are boring, which is why we have the films instead. I know it's all a matter of opinions and different views, but when you cant support your reasoning other than reciting what you previously said, it becomes a nuisance. After telling one about EON's decision to go back to the source material and have Craig portray Fleming's true interpretation of the character, of which is a cold blooded spy, it was evident that he was clearly an (excuse me)
It's all good and dandy when it's an opinion, but when it becomes arrogance and ignorance and blind stupidity to accept how one person is trying to explain it.
I am a pretty friendly guy and I hope you all view me as the same, as I do to you all. It's just irritating to see people exclaim their attitude to a 50 year old franchise and not have the nerve to back it all up. We've all come across these types of people. With one person claiming to know personally Steve Rubin who has written several Bond Trivia books and claimed to have gone to Cubby's house for a private screening between the two of them for OHMSS. Ughh, too much. Anyways, I just wanted to get this off my chest.
I hope some of you know what I mean or at least understand. Thoughts? And sorry if it comes off as me ranting or being a pest, just wanted to express this.
